The said company was hired to do work on our home due to water damage. While repairing our home they made more damage and scratched our Epoxy flooring in our basementBusiness response

We have photos that show there were scratches on the floor previously to us performing work as well as a rug over the spot where it is believed we scratched. We also had multiple epoxy professionals assess the floor and agreed it was an improper and incomplete epoxy finish job.The work we did would not have scratched the floor. However, despite our understanding that we didn't cause the damages, we still offered to to buff out the scratches and put a clear coat on, in addition to other items. That was declined by the client. We tried to help as we always do with our clients, but were declined help when an alleged complaint was brought to our attention. There is nothing further we can do.

I am rejecting this response because: according to this response they are saying they never accepted responsibility for the scratches in our floor when I have conversation between text message showing they did. I also have pictures showing my house during the remodel from the water damage and the basement where the scratches are was never are was never uncovered by the workers until the day they busted the upstairs water pipe and water running to cover and move everything to avoid more damage. It is true that our floor did not have a top coat on it, but the one guy that he bought over to look at it even said that buffing it would not get the scratches out, but he somehow ended up at our house one afternoon with us thinking he was coming to repair the whole floor because that was the last conversation we had, and he only sanded the top still leaving the scratches. We called *** and placed him on speaker phone, he was told by his own subcontractor at that time again that the floor had to be completely redone. His response because he was caught in a lye was whatever they need to make them whole. Later that evening I received a text stating the floor guy would be returning to complete the floor, then about 15 minutes after that a phone call stated he was not coming back and he didnt know what else to do. For a company that is not responsible, how and why did we get this far and how do I have all of these messages
