sept 23 2022 i purchased a used storage container from these people they gave me a reciept told me a dep needs to be make by paypal so i gave a dep of $750 they told me 4 days the container will be delivered and they will have to be paid when it gets here or delivered, 4 days they called me asked me to get them another $400 for fees before container gets here i told then no now they havent gave me my dep backBusiness response

This money was not taken by our company, ***************** LLC dba Colorado Container Homes. We have had several people call us to say they paid a deposit on a container, however we never take deposits we always require payments in full. Not only that, but we do not have a PayPal account nor do we take PayPal payments, we do all of our accounting through Quick Books. After investigating ourselves, given the increased calls with this same situation, we found that there is a scammer out there going by the name of LC Containers, and they are using our shop address to scam people. We are not affiliated in anyway to LC Containers. ***************** LLC is only registered under the dba name Colorado Container Homes. We have contacted the police about these scammers and our webmaster, but their website is still up and still using our shop address. Below is the scam website that we found: https://lccontainers.com/contacts/. You will see they have our address listed, but if you search their business name you will find that they are not a registered business in Colorado at all. It upsets me greatly that people are getting scammed, especially by using our information, but I am not sure what else to do to help stop it from happening. Any suggestions that you may have for us to stop them from using our information to scam people would be greatly appreciated.
