We had an emergency spay for our pregnant husky we had to get done today and they had cancelled on us the day of the appointment. She had a litter 7 months ago and they accidentally got tied again so it would be best to spay her. Its not like its close to me either, it is quite the drive so thats unfortunate. I called at least 20 other vets 3 weeks ago and was set on this one, it was the soonest. They didnt even let me know any of the pre-op instructions such as not allowing her to eat or drink anything after midnight the night before, thats a huge red flag and violation of HIPAA. We are leaving on vacation in a couple days so we had to get that appointment scheduled as soon as possible. Knowing vets these days, they are always booked so now we are stressed out trying to find a new place! I also had to call at least 8 times at once until someone actually answered, it was right when they opened. Maybe it was a good thing in disguise because reading these reviews, people have not had great experiences and their animals had their life on the line, they kill dogs off root canals.
