On February 2, 2023 I checked into this Motel, and gave $900 dollars cash for a 1 month stay, there was no one at the front desk, had to yell out for help, the Mgr., son came to check me in, I asked for a receipt and he said they don't give receipts for cash, I insisted and he grabbed the receipt pad and wrote it out, I had to instruct him to properly fill it out. I had to give a deposit of $100 dollars from Credit Card, of which I did and got a receipt. Upon checkout on February 27, 2023, there was no one at the front desk, I left door key on the counter and left, I later called the owner named ** on March 1, 2023, and asked him about my refund, he said he would look into it. The other related reason I'm filing a complaint is while I was there the Mgr., revealed to me that the owner hacked her bank account and withdrew $893 dollars from her account, and kind of implied to her he did it, 2 days after I was there someone tried to hack my phone with a phishing program to get personal info, they failed because I have anti-virus app. The Mgr., revealed to me that she had just got out of prison after 10 years, and her son spent 2 years in prison, what business does that. The Mgr., hinted that she's still doing bad business? I find it hard to understand how local law enforcement in a 1 traffic light town is not aware of this.
