On April **************************************** from King Awnings came to address on ************************************************************* to take measurements and create contract for installation of awnings at backyard Solarium.Fabric for project was selected and a total of $3,000.00 was quoted for an installation date of 2 weeks.A deposit of $1,500.00 was paid for the order on same date of April 20, 2022 ********************* signed the contract.The business committed to remove existing awnings which were manually retractable and assured the awnings will be ready to install as soon as the materials were ready. Not more than 2 weeks.Nature of dispute- ********************* handed his personal business card for me to contact him with any drawbacks that *** arise within the process. As soon I made a call t0 ************ Den Lic. #****** www.kingawnings.com the business secretary identified as **** informed that I should not contact ****************** directly and call her at ************. I never got to a definite agreement of when the installation would be. First the company stopped by the house to retrieve one of the existing 3 awnings so the seamstress that was going to make them had an example. The awning was lost somehow after pickup from ***** home address on June 14, 2022, and a second date was scheduled to pick-up the two remaining awnings. All this time I was in contact with ****, the business secretary. I also contacted several times *********************************, Director of Operations. The problem stated is that they could not find the hinges to hang back awnings again. I requested a refund, but company stated that awnings were already made. They only need a way to hang them and that they would be installed without having the ability to be retractable. I was assured that the installation would occur before the end of July. At this point I agreed since I was already getting ready to travel on November 2nd. On July 23, I received a text message that the installation would not happen. I requested a new contract since the product that was promised was not honored. *************************************** sent me a new contract to cover my request that amount to be paid did not honored promised product and new installation was set for September 15, which did not happen since installers were not ready. Installers did not show at the house on the last promised day of installation of October 11. Installation date was cancelled on October 21 which was the last date given before my trip. So far, the company has not contacted me. I sent them a certified letter on October 25 with no response.
