Hired **** Beltran to do concrete and drywall work. Gave **** Beltran $5865 for conrete and near the end of the job he asked for $1000 more as a deposit on the drywall. He never returned to finish the concrete and has not only said he doesn't want to do the drywall, he refuded to return the money.Initial Complaint

WARNING! This company is a scam! They used to operate under ABR Construction Services and changed their business name to Beltran Construction LLC. Previous reviews with ABR Construction show this company is stealing and lying to customers. In our case we had them doing our flooring, they refused to do the transitions because quote ' it's not part of flooring'. Then during the flooring job, convinced us to pre-buy $1800 worth of wood for a potential basement finish. The owner ***** said the price of wood is going up rapidly and we need to buy in advance to save money even know we weren't doing the job yet He said he would get the wood and hold it till we were ready. When he started not showing and doing shady things like the transitions, we decided to halt the basement finish and asked for the $1800 back since we didn't want to do the job. He refused to give it back, no work was done for that $1800. We asked for recipts for wood to show he bought it and REFUSED. He said he will charge us to show a receipt. He said he will charge us to return the wood that he refused to show he ever purchased. BEWARE OF ***** BELTRAN! He said everytime he texts me he's charging me $50 and that he deserves that money for his time. More excuses and lies with no return of our money we thought we were purchasing supplies for. He lied and said he mailed it 2 months ago and it got lost in the mail. Then accused us of cashing the cashiers check secretly, but cashiers checks are fully traceable. 3 months in, still messages of lies of paying us back and then disappearing. This company is a Scam!! I hired this company to build a deck on a property I own in ****** **. he took the job in May and said it would be complete in June. He didnt didnt get started until July except for tearing the old deck down. Which made the house unusable. He kept making excuses for why he could not get there to start the deck. Finally when he did get up to do the job it took way longer than he said it would and he would find reason why not finish it in the days while he was there. But the complaint is about how he left the job. When he stained the floor of the deck he did a vey sloppy job got stain on the paint of the house and the stain was all uneven. Drip stains all around the deck. I also paid him an agreed amount to do some extra work and part of that was to install a door. He did damaged and promised he would be back in a week to finish all the work. It has been over a month and he has not been back to complete the work. Also he was suppose to replace a crawl space covering.
