We have been doing an addition to our home with James since April. We have had countless delays and weeks without work and excuse after excuse. Last day of work was on Aug 4 by a concrete contractor. James was supposed to start the framing and floor system Aug 8. He said he got sick and took two weeks off. Then he emailed me to ask me to pay the concrete contractor directly since he didn't have the money to pay him. (I had already paid him for this part of the work). I wired the sub contractor the full amount as asked since we would need his help later. Then James informed me he was still not going to start work again until after Labor Day, he refused to talk to me by phone or text, but did email me. I followed up a couple to confirm he was going to show up on Sept 6th. He did not, he didn't return emails, calls or text messages. I think he blocked me. I paid him 30000 and the sub 7900 and have a crawl space foundation, extensive damage to front and back yards and permits that are expiring in about 4 months. I would like to have a refund for the amount of work and material that was paid for but not provided or completed.
