So it started with Gabe like this. I asked him if we could start the project on a different day then he wanted, bc my wife was starting a new work from home job. Gabe insisted that his crew wouldnt interfere, so I agreed to let him start on the day he wanted to. Then his guys cut our internet line while digging post holes. It took several hours to get the internet restored. Not great for my wifes first day. Then throughout the project I noticed his crew smoking cigarettes all over my property and then left the butts on the ground. The worst part though was when I caught his lead ********* drinking on the job. Gabe did nothing about it, in fact that same ********* ended up suing Gabe and Gabe changed his company name. The quality of the deck is horrible. You can tell it was built by a drunk. Edges not lined up, they missed the posts with several lag bolts, the wires constantly come loose, and the railing protrude at the edges. I never got a walkthrough when the job was done, he never met with me to see if I was satisfied with everything, so I never got the chance to show him all the mess **** but if he inspected his drunk carpenters work at all, he wouldve seen it himself. Gabe told me hed fix it, and then stopped answering his phone. I later learned that he was sued by his old business partner, (the drunk *********) and changed his business name. It used to be mountain high fence and landscaping, and if you look up review for that company, Gabe did the same thing to people then. Hed do shoddy work and stop responding or answering phone calls if there was any kind of issue. Either way Ive been trying to get him to answer his phone for several weeks now and he refuses to answer or reply.
