We have been trying to cancel our insurance with this company since March 29th 2024. It is now May 15 and we still do not have a cancelation and a refund. It took over a month to even get an initial response and we have gotten the run around from several people. We need our insurance canceled effective the dates we asked them to cancel and our prorated refund issued to us and an explanation of our refund.

Our agency has been working with our clients ************************* and ************************************** on their auto insurance policy to backdate several changes to the policy and cancel the policy. Due to system limitations, the requested changes to backdate removal of vehicles and adjust the policy prior to the cancellation requires intervention and processing by the Underwriting team at Auto Owners.

We have escalated the issue with the Underwriting Team who is solely responsible for processing the requests. We are continuing to follow up with the carrier Auto Owners daily in order to resolve and address the outstanding questions and concerns of Mr. and *****************.

I apologize that I missed the window. I was hopeful we would at least have a response this week, however we did not. I have asked two more times this week for an update and both of those requests have gone unanswered. We still have not been helped and we still do not have answers, our policies canceled, or our refunds.

An email was sent to the insured on 6/6/2024 to confirm cancellation of the auto policy as well as completion of the pending backdated policy changes. An additional email was sent to the insured on 6/7/2024 to again confirm the completion of the requests.

Colorado Insurance has renewed my policy twice already without my consent. In February I hit the bullet and paid the 430 dollar premium. But now on July 12th they did it again my policy was 330 a month and they renewed my policy without my permission or even a warning to me and it went to over a 600 dollar premium per month. They are a 3rd party insurance broker for travelers insurance I got on the phone directly with travelers and was told I'm not obligated to pay this money that I don't have. They also told me that this insurance company should have informed me and asked my permission before renewing any policy. Which they didn't. I feel like I'm being conned and they are pretty much telling me there's nothing they can do. If nothing comes of this I want to at least try and protect other people from the shady Buisness practices of Colorado insurance. If anyone else has charged me money like that without my permission it would be considered fraud so I don't see why I'm obligated to pay for something that I didnt approve. I did not receive a text, call or email. The reason I found out was I went to pay my bill and saw I owed them **** dollars for 3 months of coverage. This is not right. Please help me.

******************************* Travelers auto policy (policy # *************) renewal was generated on 1/1/2023 by Travelers. A notice of this renewal was email to the insured on 1/1/2023. A billing notice for the policy's renewal was emailed to the insured on 1/17/2023. Per the policy contract the auto insurance policy will continue unless cancellation is requested by the insured and a cancellation form is signed releasing the policy or the carrier Travelers cancels or otherwise non-renews the policy. We will contact the insured to offer a cancellation of their policy and assist in the process of terminating their insurance.

A broker (Broker 1) at Colorado Insurance sent me an email with a letter from Travelers telling me my insurance was being cancelled because of a non-applicable questionnaire that wasn't sent on 5/16/2022. I immediately replied and with an email, to which she did not reply.I then called Colorado Insurance. I spoke with a second broker (Broker 2), who was helpful at the time and, when I explained the situation, expressed that it didn't make much sense and that she would call Travelers for me. I was unable to answer when she called back, but she left a message stating that it was not being cancelled and emailed me asking for the letter from the email I received. I sent it immediately. As I did not hear back from her that day, I emailed again on 5/17/2022 for a follow-up. It has now been six days later, and I never received a response. Since I did not receive a response that day, I emailed Broker 1 once again. Broker 1 did call on Wednesday she said I DID need to do the questionnaire and that she would email it to me, which she did. However, when I tried to talk to her further, she told me instead to call Travelers myself instead of helping me directly. I tried to call Travelers, and I only got an automated teller telling me to go through the broker, but I did not have Broker 1's direct ext.I completed the questionnaire and sent it to both Broker 1 and Travelers. Since then (5/17/2022), I have reached out to Broker 1 through email several times with no response. I have reached out to Broker 2 with no response. An insurance brokerage with agents who outright ignore customers should not be dealing with people's home, auto, and other very vital insurances. I am still trying to figure out whether my home's insurance is cancelled, going to be cancelled, still in tact--I have no idea since no one from this agency will reply to me and I can't sit on hold for two hours every day during work hours.I have also emailed the general support email with no response.
