My daughter started care June 2020, we were to be in braces for 2 years. I paid on the account and only had $238 left. We were scheduled for her last appt on Dec 8th ( Dr was moving out of state) . Arrived to locked doors and a note on the door to contact another orthodontist. I called and scheduled an appt, met with the new Dr. at the 2nd visit (paid $50 at each visit) he stated that her braces would be off sooner then the previous Dr stated. I didnt agree and took her for a 2nd opinion. 2nd opinion didnt know my thoughts and he as well stated her braces werent ready to be removed. I have paid $3000 out of pocket, I am not removing them until they look right. I had reached out to Orthodontics Experts to refund me the visits that she didnt get to see the Dr as well as the retainers that we are not going to obtain due to treatment not being completed. I was told that all of the patients were sold off to *************** (new orthodontist ) who wanted to change the treatment plan. I was told by Orthodontics Experts that he was not to change the treatment plan. I was told today that I have to reach out to new Dr and request a refund, I simply want a refund for Dec (2021) visit when doors were closed without notice, and visits in March, April, May and June (2022) plus the cost of retainers. I have documentation of what I paid them monthly.I am wanting to reimbursed for treatment we did not receive since Im having to accrue more charges with having the treatment done properly. Thank you

On 1/18/22, I reached out to Orthodontic Experts (OE) to get a replacement retainer for my son, ************************* DOB 4/7/04. I purchased the Gold plan for $500. When I called ************, I was told that OE was sold to ****** Orthodontics. I told them I needed a replacement retainer for my son. I was advised by ***** that it would be $365. I advised I have the Gold plan so I do not owe. ***** advised that **************** is not honoring the Gold plan. I escalated the matter and got ******, the Office Manager. ****** advised the same thing and advised I should call OE Corporate number, ************. I spoke with *****. ***** advised that OE was sold to ****** Orthodontics, and they were honoring all of patients' contracts. I disabused her that they were not. I advised how it was unfair that I had paid $500 for this plan. ***** state it was nothing she could do because the company was sold. I asked her for a way to resolve this issue. ***** did not offer one solution. I offered three. One to refund my $500; two, pay ****** the $365 for the retainer; or three, allow me to ship my son's mold to IL or WI (still have offices here) to get his retainer made. She laughed at each suggestion. I then asked to be escalated to her supervisor. ***** stated she was the supervisor. She pretended as if she didn't know who her supervisor was. She said, "maybe the **** I asked for the contact info, and she refused. She stated she will have them reach out to me and took my contact info.******** states she cannot access ***************************** dental records since the company was sold so she cannot validate if I have the Gold plan or not. ****I ordered retainers from ****** Orthodontics since this issue is of essence. **** needs his retainers. I spent too much money, and ****'s spent too much time in braces to have his teeth shift. I want the $500 refunded.
