We have a home warranty through Blue Ribbon. We called Blue Ribbon to let them know our fridge water dispenser stopped working. They sent out Proserve to fix the problem. On the first attempt their technician, ******, caused a big leak on the floor. This caused our floor boards to warp AND he did not even fix the original problem on the first attempt. When asked about it he denied that he could have caused the damage and **** (I think her name is) the receptionist at Proserve also denied he could have done it. They said it was already there. He did have to come back and fix the water line and he claimed a broken water line that is under the fridge caused the problem. The problem with that is that there is no damage under the fridge. All the damage is where he caused it, in front of the fridge. The solution is for them to pay to fix our floors since they clearly caused it. We paid them $75 directly but I do not know what Blue Ribbon paid them.Business response

Our technician was at their home fixing the broken water line. When he was doing the repair, a little water did drip out from the line and he wiped it up with a towel. The amount of water that dripped on the floor would not cause the damage the customer is complaining about. Their water line was broken and had been dripping water behind their refrigerator which is likely what caused damage to their floor. Our technician fixed the problem, so the water line will not leak anymore.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because there is no damage under the fridge where they say the water line was damaged and would have spilled. Their technician even said the water lines are under the fridge. All of the water damage is in front of the fridge where their technician spilled the water while working on the front of the fridge. They say the water spill was not that bad but my wife had to turn off the water at our main shut off. She and my nephew were there to witness what happened. I know they just do not want to pay for the damages they caused so they are looking for an easy way out...
