      Liebler & CO Roofing replaced my roof in late fall of 2020. In the process a roofer broke my skylight. *********************** (owner of ***** Contracting also DBA Liebler & CO Roofing) ******* on the job, promised to replace the skylight (fall 2020) but has not yet done the work. He said he was going to be spending that winter in the south with his parents but would call me in the spring of 2021 when he got back to ****** and do the work then. He did not contact me that spring so I called him. He apologized for "dropping the ball" (his words) and said that he would replace the skylight. After that phone call, he stopped communicating with me so I called **** Liebler (summer 2021) whose name was on the contract letterhead. I had no contact with **** up until this time but after explaining the situation he promised to "make it right" (his words) and he sent a skylight repairman to my house in Sept. 2021. The repairman said he would replace the skylight but that it might be Nov. (2021) until he got the glass since it would be a special order item. I called him (October 2021) to get an update on the order and find out if I had any financial responsibility for the work. He assured me that **** was "covering everything" (his words) as far as expenses for the work. After that phone call none of the three people involved with replacing my skylight would communicate with me. I am hoping that you can contact *********************** and/or **** Liebler about this situation to help me resolve the problem.

      We apologize for this oversight. It was our understanding that if the repairs exceeded the thousand dollars that we deducted from your roofing **** in good faith for the interior broken skylight pane that either you or the tradesmen we sent would reach out to us to cover the difference.

      Although I do not yet have my skylight replaced, *********************** did call me yesterday afternoon.  He apologized for not fixing the skylight yet and said he thought the repairman that his business partner sent to my house last fall had taken care of it.  He also said that he contacted a glass cutter to cut a pane of glass to replace the pane that was broken.  I explained that I would not accept a single, separate pane of glass as a replacement for the skylight because my skylight was a "unit" of 2 panes of glass that were factory sealed together.  So even though only 1 pane of glass was broken, the whole skylight unit needs to be replaced.  He said he would contact the skylight business that I referred him to and get back to me.  I am waiting to hear from him and hope we can get this skylight replaced.
