The website listed a 2023 silverado **** as on the lot and only 2 miles when it is actually parked at the airport and has over 1k miles because it's an employees daily driver. And they wanted me to cover the depreciation cost of the employee driving the truck. They're misleading buyers with false information.Business response

Hello! I have since had a conversation with ****************. We both agree that this situation was a large misunderstanding. In fact, he will be visiting our business within the next hour to purchase a vehicle. Is there a way for him to cancel/retract the complaint?Business response

Hello! We have worked with **************** and have sold him a vehicle. We believe he is 100% completely satisfied with his purchase and experience with our dealership. In fact, it is our understanding that his intentions were to remove this complaint.Customer response

After purchasing a vehicle, and thoroughly inspecting it, a week later, these symptoms showed up out of nowhere:-Runs rough -Transmission VERY hard shifting -Structural issues: front and rear, pops and bangs etc -Loose parts rolling around in overhead storage -Horrific cigarette smell -Oil filter over torqued, took 2 hours to remove for oil change -Loud noise from infotainment - strange buzzing, loud and annoying -***************** burning smell in cabin (I checked my plug-ins)These are the types of vehicles that ED ********************** sells. It makes sense that their rating is 1 out of 5 stars.I attempted 4 times now to get the vehicle fixed. 1st attempt: Dealership told me they had no transmission tech hired at the store, so they referred me to the sister store over an hour away 2nd attempt: Sister store told me they couldn't give me a ride home OR even loan me a vehicle.3rd attempt: Called dealership again and they said they couldn't help me at either original or sister dealership unless I paid for an Uber, and they would have my vehicle for a couple of weeks 4th Attempt: I drove to the dealership after emailing a few of the 'higher-***** They told me they would look at my vehicle, but recommended that I 'drive the truck for a few more weeks just to see how it does.' Alternate option they gave me: Buy back the vehicle for $7,000 less (after just 22 days of owning it), or trade it for another ****** they may have.I would like to get a 100% refund, or we'll be taking this to court.Business response

Bozarth Chevrolet apologizes that you have concerns with the quality of the vehicle you purchased. We make every effort to thoroughly recondition every used vehicle that we sell. In this particular case, we invested $2,604 in reconditioning, which includes our 98 point inspection that we conducted. Our inspection yielded this as a quality vehicle, and yielded a 3 month/3,000 mile powertrain warranty. This inspection also enabled the vehicle to be eligible for a vehicle service contract. You choose to purchase a vehicle service contract, which gave 7 years and ******* miles of comprehensive coverage. We understand the experiences you had initially with our service departments was not pleasant, and certainly will learn from your experience. Upon your escalation, we arranged an appointment day/time and did offer a loaner vehicle to you for the period of the time the vehicle would be with our service department for inspection and any necessary repairs.
With that being said, we feel that it is in all parties interest to purchase the vehicle back in full, and refund your money pending inspection of the vehicle. We have made numerous attempts to contact you this week, including multiple phone calls and emails. We look forward to your response. Thank you.
