I was rear-ended by a Turf Paradise truck on 5/21/24. The damage to my car was minor and did not warrant police involvement. I was able to get pictures of the driver's driver's license, license plate of the vehicle, ********************** logo on the truck, and the proof of insurance that was in the vehicle. The proof of insurance and license plate on the vehicle were both expired. When I contacted the insurance provider (Progressive) I was told that the truck that rear-ended me was not covered under the policy because the policy I had taken a picture of was not associated with Turf Paradise. The insurance agent told me that the truck involved in the accident had been sold recently to Turf Paradise and the insurance card must have been left inside from the previous owner. I have left multiple voicemails for Turf Paradise as well as emails to obtain their current insurance information or to pursue other avenues to pay for the repairs to my car but have been unable to get in contact or gain a response from anyone. Damage repair and rental car during the time of the repairs to my car will be approximately $3000Business response

Since the police were not contacted and no report made, we felt it best to have our insurance company deal directly with the claimant. Our insurance company is not Progressive, it is EMC and it is our understanding they are in contact with the claimant and investigating the claim.
