    October 11th 2021 Harebell Homes (“HH”) entered into a construction contract with Mr. ***** for the remodel of Mr. ******* residential basement (the “Contract”). Pursuant to the Contract terms, HH would provide the following services: The Services. The Contractor agrees to perform the following scope of work (detailed in estimate): Demo areas that need replaced, fix and install all framing to code, fix and install all HVAC to code, Fix and install all electrical to code, fix and install all plumbing to code, install drywall at all areas listed with mud/tape/texture, paint all drywalled areas, install trim including base trim/doors/door casings, install carpet flooring in main living areas and bedrooms (including closets). Bathroom only to be roughed at this phase of construction and not finished until a later date. Bathroom finishes to be determined at a later time and will be on a separate scope of work, estimate and agreement. The Contract’s total cost was $39,447.00, and the Project was scheduled to begin right away after October 11th 2021 per email sent to Mr. *****, and verbally be completed by the Christmas Holidays 2021. Mr. ***** made the following payments to HH: 10/11/21 of $13,149.00. The Client, ******** *****, has chosen to terminate the Independent Contractor Agreement with the Contractor, Harebell Home, on December 9, 2021. The Independent Contractor Agreement was signed by both parties and was effective as of October 11, 2021. Payments from the Client to the Contractor were scheduled as and only the deposit amount at signing was collected by the Contractor of $13,149.00:With deductions, if any, amounts that were used to compensate the Contractor for time spent estimating, drafting terms, emails and meetings to discuss design and timeline, contacting and scheduling subcontractors, and fuel costs. 90 days to wait for returned funds is too long. I have since hired another contractor and will need my property to finish items on the new contract.

    Signed up for bathroom remodel work around 2/14/2022 and today is 4/26/2022. While this started out well with a breakdown of the bathroom and picking up a toilet and vanity, I have been unable to use the bathroom since then. The plumber that was sent caused a leak into the laundry room below and now I have a big hole in the ceiling. The current person doing the tiling and remainder of the work is asking about getting paid and I haven't heard back from anyone since 4/14/2022. I have emails and text messages to prove everything. The owner, *** Silence, has not been in contact. This has been the worst experience.
