One of our signs had smears/scratches and we tried contacting the owner. Owner's response was that the sun will fade those *********** will go away eventually. The owner came by early summer 2023 and saw the sign his business was responsible for & offered to replace/ repair.August 18th after waiting and calling 303 signs multiple times the sign was replaced again. It was installed in such a haste it was crooked and still had a couple blotches where the vinyl wrap over metal was not done neatly. This should not be a problem-why is this a problem? So then the sign was removed with the understanding it needed to be redone. The workmanship being in such a hurry removing /installing the sign on a Friday close to 5pm it wasn't a mystery to me why the sign was installed crooked in the first place. The workers had their personal plans (which explains why they didn't care to take their time) and I was told to email one of the workers because they had to get going.I emailed and got no response for a few days but they came out again August 30th. I was asked to inspect the sign before the install. I pointed out the wrinkles in the wrap on the metal in a few areas & took pictures of the wrinkles. Then I was told basically that is how the machine lays the wrap & tough luck. I reiterated to the workers the sign was not cheap and it needed to be perfect. The sign was taken away and when I emailed for follow up I got no communication back. So a phone call was made today 9/11/23 when we were notified and told the sign isn't being delivered and installed.I would like a replacement ASAP this has been dragged on. I used 303 signs because of all the good ratings seen on the internet but our experience for this cheap simple sign has been poor. We spent a total of of over $10,000 for two signs.

I'm not sure what I can say here.  We tried to help the client out because we have done a few sign projects for them.  In February of 2022, we installed the sign while it was snowing because the client was opening the next day.  We were unable to clean the sign in the snow, so I sent someone back out to clean the sign.  I ran into the customer in early 2023, and he said that he wanted me to take a look at the sign.  There was some grain in the sign, but not due to poor workmanship.  It's part of the natural weathering process of vinyl in Colorado.  If you looked at the sign through a certain angle, and catch the reflection of the sun, you could see the grain in the sign. Based on the pattern, these were not scratches from the production process. We do these types of signs all the time.  It is printed vinyl on a panel.  It is the cheapest option other than a banner.  Because they have done a lot of business with us, I told the customer that we would redo it, when we could fit it in.  When we replaced it the first time, they found an imperfection that you would have to look closely to find.  Ok, fine.  We went back to do it a second time, and they told us not to hang it, because there is an imperfection in the panel.

At this point, we don't want to do any further business with this customer.  We will issue a full refund for the sign in question.

      Thank you.

I am rejecting this response because:

To have a full refund on the sign will require a refund on the permit fee, taxes refunded, and the brackets removed and the holes where the brackets are to be repaired on a brand new building. This will also involve getting the landlord to have their contractor give an estimate to fix.

The owner has been so hard to get ahold of and doesnt respond respond to calls at his office or texts. There is plenty of proof and pictures attached.

If the sign had some defects this should have been mentioned upon the agreement for fees of services.

The sign should have been installed without bubbles or smears and then leveled out. All our pictures show this wasnt done with dates attached to pictures. This is affecting our business daily with customers wondering if we are closed down.

      Sincerely,

If you look at the invoice that accompanied the check that I sent via certified mail, the amount of the check includes the sales tax.

The sign out front represents ****% of the value of the signs.  I'll be happy to write you a check for $37.14 to cover that portion of the permit costs.

The sign bracket was a requirement from your landlord.  The gentleman with the heavy accent, who represented himself as the business owner, was part of those email conversations with the landlord. The landlord required those brackets so that no future holes would be drilled in the building.  We are not going to remove those brackets.  Your next sign company can install the sign on those brackets.

      Thanks
