My son has purchased two vehicles from Booth motors within the last 6 months. The first car he purchased had issues immediately. His car started shaking the day after he purchased it. It was then that we realized that two of the wheels had only been held on by one lug nut each. Their response was “sorry about that“. After looking closely at the car it was obvious that the front bumper had been zip tied on. Needless to say, my son was involved in an accident, and the car was totaled out. I don’t believe the car was totaled out because of the damage from the accident. I believe it was totaled out, because to get it in safe working order, it would cost way more than the value of the car. Because Booth worked with his current lender, he needed to finance again through them. He is a young adult, with very little credit. Not bad credit, just lack of credit. He purchased his second car from booth motors at the end of July. Within a week, the car started shaking terribly. After taking it in to be looked at, he learned that two of the wheels were bent and needed to be replaced. He had to spend $1500 for a set of new wheels. Two weeks later, the car had to be towed to a dealership because it would no longer run. After paying the towing fee, the dealer had a chance to take a look at it. They let us know that the transmission had gone out. When we called booth, and let them know we haven’t even owns a vehicle a month, their response was “good thing you bought a warranty“. Even though my son has the extended warranty, it will be costing us close to $1000 to have this replaced. The warranty does not cover taxes or the fluids needed for the new transmission. On top of this, my son has been without a vehicle for the last two weeks. It it seems to be very obvious that booth motors does not care about the safety of their clients. Otherwise, they would not sell them unsafe vehicles.

***, I'm sorry that your son has not had the best luck with his cars recently. I'm not sure what your son's name is, so I can't look up his deal, but we always do our best to accommodate our customers. Is the car at our dealership or is another dealership trying to overcharge you? We don't want you to feel that we don't care, but we also don't have control over what another dealer will charge you. Please have him give our GM a call so that we can discuss a fair resolution. His name is Rod.

This company sold us a vehicle that had been ilegaly modified with stright pipes. they said they could get it street legal for us by addind the Cat-Converter. Unfortunately the service light continued to apear. The service team took forever to get the vehicle back to us. It has mostly been with them. I have recently took it to another shop to find out they have installed a botched no name Cat on the vehicle potentially damaging the engine by doing so. the Light never turned off due to them installing non OEM parts and never telling us about it. they also never gave us service records. We have asked for refund to get this repaired correctly. And have been told lie after lie that they will not.

Elias, obviously performance vehicles require more maintenance than an average car. I feel like we have been trying to help you out, even though you purchased the car several months ago. Please give me a call directly so that we can work together to resolve this issue. My name is Rod and I am the GM.

I purchased the car 6/21/2021 from thus company.and the salesperson sold me a warranty that should not have been sold to me due to the car having modifications and now the car having motor problems and needing warranty work. They denied the warranty due to the modifications that the car came with when I bought it from them, and I would like a full refund of my 2000 dollars that used to purchase the warranty.

****, I'm sorry that you are having an issue with your vehicle. Often times, shop's don't want to deal with warranty companies, so they don't even try to get the claim covered. We are happy to process your claim. Please give us a call so that we can get it covered for you.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:
I brought the car to your establishment to get the motor replaced under the warranty I purchased through you're dealership. They denied the warranty because of modifications on the car that came with the car when I bought from your dealership. Your salesman don S**** should have known better to not sell me me the warranty because if the modifications done to the car.
I just want my full 2,000 dollars back that I used to purchase the warranty that I wasn't not able to use after having the car for 9 months.
      Regards,

The warranty is non-cancellable. This is not our policy. It is their policy. If your motor is blown up, then why would you not want us to get it covered? A motor will cost much more than $2000. We are trying to help you; I don't see why you would decline that. Please give us a call so that we can help you out.

I am rejecting this response because:

The only reason I'm rejecting it is because I dont have the money and all I want is the 2000$ I put for it, and who would I ask for when I call to settle this

Ask for Rod or Victor. If we can't get it covered, then we can try to cancel, but typically they won't cancel unless the vehicle is repossessed or totaled.

Purchased a 2014 honda ***** on 10/23/2021. Took it in for an alignment, because it was dangerous to drive at highway speeds, but was unable to due to the rear control arms and bushings were severely damaged and a bent strut, quote >$1200. Then I took it to a different mechanic and said it also needed inner and outer front tie rods on both sides, >$2000. Other issues include the exhaust being rusted all the way through >$900, im moving soon and it won't pass emissions without it. Also has a check emissions light on the dash the codes say o2 and maf sensors. Cruise control doesn't work, windshield washer sprayer doesn't work. I want to cancel my warranty, it hasn't covered anything. I asked boothmotors to cancel it and they just laughed at me. I cant afford to pay for the car every month and pay to fix the car every 2 weeks and pay for a 3000 dollar warranty that doesn't do anything. Any help would be much appreciated, thank you for your time.

******, I’m not really sure what you would like us to do. We have already offered to help and you have declined our offer. We cannot control the warranty company and their cancellation policy. Maybe we can call them and have them make an exception to cover the issue that you are having. Please give us a call and ask for our GM, Rod, if you would like to discuss this further.
