At test drive, engine light was on, seller assured us that engine engine issues would be taken care of. At delivery, driver stated that battery was bad and had to be jumped to get it into the drive. Battery was replaced by us Drives 3 and 4 engine was on, and vehicle overheated. Coolant was replenished. Drive 6 the vehicle would not restart while out and was towed to ************. Initial inspection revealed that the vehicle had been power-washed but there was black gunk on the starter, orange stained spark plugs and coolant lines. Coolant lines were cracked and broken at the top. Thermostat, water pump and starter were defective. Repairs totaled $1930.88. Drive 8 vehicle overheated and engine light was on. Evaluation from mechanic after 3/4 3engine failed tests suggested head gasket issue. I shared the repairs done, and invoices for engine repair and replacement and that title for vehicle had not been received. We were offered compensation for the battery. He suggested a second opinion, which we did. On the way to 2nd to second mechanic, engine light was still going off. Mechanic noticed spark plugs were not aligned, causing contact and compression and vehicle failed 4/4 engine tests. He agreed with head gasket issue. shared issues with Victory Motors GM and after several weeks of conversation/text with there was no resolution.. We repaired the head gasket, a total of $3207.00. We paid for a $318. to receive a title. Plates and tags were received 2/27/24 and title received 3/7/24. We weren't expecting a perfect transaction, but we were expecting a title and engine issues to be resolved as promised.
