I contacted Gabriel Garcia With Maries cleaning service about doing a Move out cleaning. She quoted me $300 for the job. Then said that she was also able to shampoo the carpets for an extra $250, making a total of $550, which she was paid in advance. When she came to my house to pick up the money she did not request to see the house. She just took the money and left. Then she proceeded to message my mother out-of-state and tell her that she needed another $500 Because the house was "messy", (It was empty, just needed a basic cleaning for a move out. So without discussing it with me my mother venmo'd her another $500 making it a total of $1050 for a basic move out clean. I told my mother that was outrageous. Gabrielle was even upset that I didn't leave my personal cleaning supplies there for her to use. She did not even have a vacuum. She had to use mine. She made herself out to be a professional with her own equipment and supplies. When I discovered all she was going to do to clean the carpets was renting a rug doctor I really thought that $1050 was unreasonable. I then contacted her and explained nicely that I appreciated the work she had done and would like her to be compensated for the time she had spent there but I didn't need her to finish due to the fact that my mom had not discussed paying an extra $500 and that landlord was very specific about the carpets being shampoosed by a professional and a professional carpet cleaner does not rent a rug doctor and call it a professional job. I asked nicely for her to refund me the money explained that we could discuss the cost of the work that she had done. She agreed to meet me at the house the next day at 930 am. She did not show up until 10:45. When i arrived i could clearly see that all she had done was use my personal vacuum to vacuum 1 bedroom and partially cleaned 1 bathroom. (My neighbors also reported her bringing a man into my home with her that looked "like a gang member")When I asked her about refunding me the money her response was "I know I shouldn't have but I spent your money paying my boyfriends rent", she then started making claims that she had found drug paraphernalia in the house, i think trying to intmidate me into letting her keep the money. She said she had pictures and had a duty to report it. I let her know that was fine. I was totally ok with her Reporting whatever she wanted to because i knew if she did actually find what she said she did that it wasnt mine nor did it have anything to do with me.(very well could have been belonged to her, or the man she brought into my home) It was also a known fact that the tenants prior to me were drug dealers and where she claimed to have found said paraphernalia was somewhere i could not even reach nor had i ever put any of my belongings anywhere near that spot. She went on to say that she could go to home depot and return some items real fast and bring me some of that money and asked if she could pay the rest the next week. At that point I knew I didn't really have a choice but to say yes so she left to home depot to return the items and said she would be right back with cash. Quite a while after she left I contacted her asking if she had an eta and she claimed to still be at home depot and said she "had other things to get" she also told me that home depot would not return her cash that she had to wait 3 to 5 business days to get the money back on her card. I proceeded to ask questions about this because $1050 is a lot of money to just trust some stranger with. All I could do was pray that she would return it due to the fact that I had to hire a real actual professional (not someone posing as one) do do the job. money was very tight as I had to put 1st months rent and deposit down on new place as well as pay rent another month at the old place because the cleaning still had not been done. At a time when I was struggling gabrielle took complete advantage of my situation and kindness. I continued to try to contact her without any success... after a week had gone by I tried contacting her again only to find out that she had blocked me. I'm at a complete loss and don't know what to do from here. How is it legal to commit complete fraud and get away with it. I guess it's 1 way to get rich doing nothing but scamming people. I on the other hand work very hard for what I have and don't understand how it's fair or ok for her to do this. I was very nice and tried very hard to work with her on all of it but she was not even professional enough to get back to me and she also kept my only house key, which she was never even given permission to take with her in the first place. Because she kept the key I had to pay for the door to be rekeyed so I could give the landlord the house keys. I can only hope that justice will be served and that she will be stopped from doing this to other hardworking individuals. I have proof of every interaction that occurred with this girl. It's really sad that people like her really ruin it for other small business owners. After dealing with her I will be much smarter and diligent about doing business with people and I'd like to thank her for that.

She was hired on Jun 2, 2023, to do a move out and clean of a rental house we were in. She quoted me $300.00. I asked her if she supplied cleaning supplies and she said yes. I told her that there would be extra stuff on the counter (they accidently got packed and she was upset they weren't available if she needed it She then offered to do shampoo the carpets for a total of $550. I agreed and she came and requested the cash before she started the job from my daughter, Kandi, as we were out of the state. She then went to the rental and said "this is a mess, worse than I thought, I'm going to need more money an additional $500.." I knew that it needed some extra work so I stupidly sent her the cash before she started the job, as I was back in Arizona .She spent about 2-3 hours at the house and then left to pick up her children from a sporting event. I asked her about what she was going to use to shampoo the carpets with and she said a rug doctor. I said the landlord wants it sanitized and deodorized and cleaned and that the rug doctor was not what we wanted. I then ask to refund the carpet cleaning portion as nothing had been started yet. I tried to reach her numerous times by phone, text, instant messenger and email. She has blocked all my efforts to contact her to work out a resolution. She kept in total $1050.00. I also gave her the house key, which she has refused to return as of yet, today 6/122023

This customer has caused defamation for my company and made false accusations toward myself and my company as well. I spoke with the customer on May 26th where she was provided with a quote for a deep/move out clean with an estimated price of $300. We then scheduled a day for the customer to show me the home and pick up payment, that date was May 31st. I did not request for the payment to be paid in advance the customer stated she would provide payment before she left town. The customer also stated that the home was very bad and if I had to charge more that was okay just to let her know. On May 31st  when I arrived at the home the customer whom I originally spoke with on the phone was not at the residence, I then spoke with her daughter whom was home she provided me with the payment in the form of cash. She didn’t show me the home and wanted to confirm I would be back to clean on June 2nd. When I arrived at the home on June 2nd I unloaded all of my supplies and began to do my full walkthrough since I didn’t get to do so on May 31st. As I did my walkthrough I found a mirror with what looked to be a cut piece of a straw along with drugs on it. I continued my walkthrough around the rest of the home and came across multiple plastic bags with remnants of drugs all over the floor. After I completed my walkthrough I contacted the customer and informed her that the home was very dirty and that I would have to charge her more, she was fine with that and immediately sent $500 via Venmo. At the time I also told the customer that I would have to leave to care for my  children because my husband had a softball game but I would return after. She said I had 3-4 days to complete the job so it was no big deal. I then began cleaning the upstairs and completed one of the bedrooms. Once I finished the one bedroom I moved to the master bathroom and was about finished in there before I had to leave. I planned on returning the following morning until the customers daughter sent me a text message stating that they did not want me to return and insisted the money be returned. Unfortunately since the job was already started there are no refunds. The customers daughter didn’t say why they didn’t want me to return but became very rude and pushy. I felt disrespected and was not going to tolerate the way she was talking to me so I then blocked the number. They then posted things on social media saying that I stole from them and making not only me but my company look bad. I have provided all of the proof in the .zip file that is attached. i did not steal their key it got thrown away.

I am rejecting this response because:
She is not being truthful. Why did she throw the key away? I tried numerous times to work something out with her. I only wanted the refund for the carpet shampoo as the landlord wanted a professional to do it, not done by a rug doctor. She had no vacuum and limited supplies at the time she showed up. As far as the straw and signs of drug use, I was not aware nor was I a participant. It could have been left by the prior tennant.  She should have refused to continue and let me know. She made no attempt to communicat to me over the next 7 days. I made numerous attempts to contact her to see if she was going to complete the job. She refused my calls, emails,  and text messages.  I needed the house key back to give to the landlord. All she had to do was respond to my request. Instead she blocked me from communicating with her and refused to talk to me

I'm sorry I am a business owner not a liar! If I ran my company based on lying I would not have come this far! I have absolutely no reason to lie about anything here, I have provided all of the proof that is needed and I have no more to say regarding this matter. Therefore thank you and I hope you have a great rest of your day!

I am rejecting this response because:

      Regards,
I am.more than happy to pay for the work completed. She was given $1050

The service she was hired for was not completed and she got paid in full. Cleaning 1 room and vacuuming was not what we agree upon. I paid her in advance as I was leaving town and I wanted to make sure she got the money to put in her bank before the weekend. I was being thought full and generous on my part. Once she got the money there was no more communication from her. you don't run a business that way if you want to be in good standing. I  tried to reach out to her many times so we could work something out. I want other people to be aware of her tactics. Lesson learned on my part. I will make sure that yelp and all other websites she uses are aware of how she conducts business.
