            We utilized Liberty Fence & Supply, LLC, for our fence installation in 1/2023. The crew hit one of our sprinkler lines while trenching down to install the fence. At the time, the team attempted to fix the damaged line. We recently had our sprinklers turned on in our new build house (as of 11/2022), and water was leaking from the site where the crew damaged the line. My husband, John, notified the owner Collin, and he refused to come and fix the damaged line or hire a knowledgeable and experienced sprinkler company to come out and fix it for him. According to his contract, Collin told my husband this was a pre-existing line issue, but that was not the case after I contacted our builder. Today, we had a sprinkler company come and fix the damage, and they informed me that the fence company did indeed damage the sprinkler line in 3 spots and did not fix the issue properly. Now, we are left with paying the out-of-pocket cost when this is obviously not our fault. I do not recommend Liberty Fence as the owner was not professional with the responsibility of fixing the issue they caused.

            ******,As we discussed on the phone, we are very sorry for the inconvenience, however sprinkler lines are not lines that can be located with utility locators as there is not tracer wire with them. We do our best on every job to miss them, but in some cases it is inevitable. When the job was accepted based off of the estimate/contract agreed upon there is a disclaimer at the bottom that reads:"Liberty Fence & Supply LLC. is not responsible for damage to landscaping, irrigation systems or erosion control materials. Work will be preformed according to best possible work practices. If a permit is required, permit fee plus $25 administrative fee will be applied to final invoice."This is a very common disclaimer in the fence installation industry. We felt that we went above and beyond by attempting to fix this while on site, however over the winter there was no way to test with no water to the sprinklers. We also went back through the fence and dug out ice/snow to help make gates work as they should after install and a few other services that were not billed for or normally any part of any kind of fence installation.
