In December 2021, I scheduled an appointment with Peak Professionals to get a Rapid PCR Covid test that was required for international travel at the time. I specifically noted with scheduler that the purpose of my visit was for the Rapid PCR and she confirmed that they had that test available. My appointment was on 1-24-2022 and after being seen by the doctor he informed me that they had run out of the Rapid PCR test with the patient before me. The DR indicated a little bit of regret for my circumstance as he had been using the rapid test on some patients who did not need the results on the same time line that I needed. It did not appear he was aware of limited amount of Rapid PCR tests they had on hand. I was forced to scramble and travel a hour and half to the next closest place to acquire the test before my international travel. When I received my bill for this appointment, I was charged for a office visit and a Lipid Panel. I called the billing department and informed them that I never received a Limpid Panel nor the Rapid PCR test for which the appointment was intended. They stated they would amend my account. Ultimately they removed the Limpid Panel but have insisted on billing me for the office visit. I had spoke with the billing depart numerous times over the past year and explained that I was not going pay for a service that was not provided to me. I called and asked to speak to the office manager in October 2022, and that call has not been returned. I also sent them a letter in May 2022 explaining the situation and they continue to bill me for this visit and now have sent the $25 debt to a collection service. My complaint is that I have been billed for a service they did not provide and they have done nothing to resolve the issue despite my repeated attempts to speak with a supervisor or office manager and/or discuss with them the fact that they did not manage correctly a limited resource for which my appointment was intended.
