I originally had my car towed to accurate Automotive 12/5/23 (i think not positive on date) for a water leak, hard start and driver window, they said it was the water pump, starter, window regulator. and Cam Shaft Sensor.I have Car shield, so they paid part of the total amount paid. I picked the car up on 12/13/23. I work 3.5 hours from **********. I picked the car up and the next morning went to drive back to work. I only made it a few miles and the hot light came on and turned it off in the middle of the highway, I had antifreeze in the trunk, put some in drove a bit further where i could pull over. Checked and the car was leaking antifreeze. I called the shop and took the car back to them they said the water pump failed. It can happen, so I was nice and patient. Initially my car took longer to fix because they said they got a bad starter, now the water pump. They did give me a loaner car when I first brought it in and the day, I brought it back. But definitely costing some fuel to drive back and forth at this point. Also, when the water pump failed my door lock was not working all of a sudden either. I picked the car up on 12/15/23 they did the water pump again and the door actuator. They did not charge me anything the water pump/timing belt was covered because of the failure and the actuator was fully covered by car shield. I drive back to work 3.5 hours away and when I get to work the cars hot light came on. I am still losing antifreeze and the car started cutting out sometimes it would start and other times it would not. I kept antifreeze in it there was none under the car so did not know where it could be going. I took the car back. They said it was the upper radiator hose and the battery. I told them It is not the battery I had it checked before I brought it in. I told them it seemed like the starter still, doing the same thing. Even though the starter was under warranty apparently, they did not check it, just blamed it on the battery. I picked the car up on 1/5/24. driving back and forth and had to rent a car because they did not have a loaner vehicle. Went to friend's house and the next morning i had to drive to *********. When I got off the highway I heard loud clunking, made it to my friend's house. He works on racecars, and he said it is the passenger side motor mount. I could not drive the car like that, I looked at the app that accurate auto has, and it said in the app a green light for the motor mounts were checked and good. A friend of mine that knows a lot about cars and builds racecars as well came out and both of my friends said that the motor mount needed to be replaced and that it looked like when they did the water pump, they should have replaced the stretch bolts because they cannot use the old ones according to several shops I talked to and 2 men that build racecars. I called accurate and spoke to ***** she said they were not responsible, but then another ***** called me, he was the director there. He was easy to talk to and understood my anger and frustration at this point, but he said when he talked to the owner, they were not responsible for it. He did say they would tow the vehicle there and try to make it right, but at this point I don't trust them at all. My friends also found a fuel leak right next to the radiator hose, that accurate auto missed. Every time I left there shop i made it a few miles and had problems that could destroy my motor. I was very upset. I needed to go back to work but was stuck again. I have pictures of the motor mount, but it would not let me upload the receipts or pictures. I could not even think at that point, my friends asked me what I wanted to do. I said I don't trust this shop, every time I leave their same problem or new one. I needed to go back to work. ***** the director was very nice, and he said let me know what you want to do. I was exhausted I work 14 hours a day and nothing but problems with my car. I decided to think on it for a night and get some sleep. I left the car in ********* at my friend's house. Well, little did I know my friends went and got the parts and fixed it so I could go back to work. I paid them the parts plus $300 for labor. $510.00. Did not have the money to spend, but what do I do. I go back to work 3.5 hours away and I end up stuck again and my job. The cars won't start. I had it towed to the shop in **************. They said it was not the battery, called me later and said the wrong connector was put on the starter and it fell off. **** was $450. I called ***** at Accurate auto, told him everything that had transpired. I talked to him several time over the next months to try to get them to take responsibility for this. He was reasonable, but it sounded like the owner was not. This ***************** was talking to me and then to the owner, so I told him to just have the owner (*********************) call me, it does not make sense to take all this time going back and forth with no results. Plus, before I had my car towed their originally, I talked to the owner and asked him several times. Can you work on this car, can you work on this car, can you work on this car. It is not an easy car to work on and he assured me they had good European mechanics. Then ***** finally came back and said the owner will pay $225 or you can try to go through the warranty company, but they usually don't do that. Well, that was the first time I ever heard from them about a warranty company. On their invoice it says they warranty for 3 years or ****** miles but I have to bring it to them at their shop, so that made no sense to me. ***** said it is in the pamphlet that they put the invoice in and if you are 25 miles away or more than you can take it to another shop. I was never told this, through this entire process and why does their invoice same something different. I did not look through the pamphlet just invoice. Anyway, I told him I would think about it, because I spent 450 for the starter fix and $500 for the motor mount fix and $225 was not going to cut it and all the driving back and forth and all the antifreeze. Plus, the stress. I have cancer so this is not helping me. I was soooooo tired. So I called the warranty company, and they covered the diagnostic tow and the labor for the starter. $450. I told ***** and he was shocked. We still had the issue of the motor mount, but all of a sudden, I got a text from ***** that he was not working there anymore.Months of talking and now this. So, i was busy so waited and was about to call the owner. I had to go to ****** and back for doctor ****** when I was driving back my Radiator hose blew and I was stuck in the middle of nowhere. I called the warranty company for roadside they wanted $300 but they would not take cash I did not have enough in my acct to put it on a card, plus it was really difficult they use Allstate for the roadside and allstate seemed confused. I found a tow truck service in *********** because i was closest to them. found one thank God, he charged me $300. The warranty company said they would only cover $125 of it. I called accurate auto when I was stuck in the middle of now where and told them that the warranty company would only cover $125. ********************* the owner of Accurate called me the next day, but he was very difficult to communicate with, he just wanted to argue over little things that did not matter. He called the shop owner; they argued as well. Accurate Auto cut the radiator hose on the wrong end the flipped it around and put it on and it was rubbing on the radiator fan and that is what caused everything. This shop is not accurate at all. Talked to the owner after nonstop stupid childish arguing. He would interrupt I would interrupt, but when I interrupted, he would hang up on me and when he interrupted, he would hang up on me. Him and the shop owner were arguing as well. Finally, he said he would pay for the tow and hose, but I told him we need to talk about the motor mount, he said I got paid for that. I said no that was the starter. He said the offer to pay the tow and hose was rescinded and hung up on me. So here we are. I am owed $680.82.They brag about having this 3 year/******-mile warranty and just so over everyone knows they need it. I am thankful that they have a warranty company because if not I would be out $1500. They are responsible for the motor mount. They used the original bolts when they took the motor mount off twice when they did the water pump, and you have to replace the stretch bolts on my car. Even the Shop ****** from Accurate auto said that those stretch bolts have to be replaced if they are removed. I have the pictures of the mount and bolts They are not new. Then the remainder of the tow bill for the radiator hose. The owner at accurate ********************* will say I was arguing but I had no problem talking to ***** his director. **** tried to bash him, but he was way easier to talk to. I guess if this goes to court, I can subpoena ***** to testify, or he might do it willingly. He was very helpful and tried to help but the owner prevented a solution. Now after talking to *********************, I see why this all was taking months to figure out. He is impossible to communicate with. I am a property manager and have to communicate under bad circumstances all the time and this experience and process has been the worst and once I spoke with *********** all made sense. They don't want to admit that everything they did almost damaged my motor and I am hoping still that it will be ok. Just hoping and praying the water pump does not fail next because everything else they touched they did wrong. rooky mistakes. I just want the money I lost back and to be done with them. I will not let this go through because if I do then this will happen to more people that know less than I do about cars.

Very difficult company to work with. I was quoted a price over the phone to replace my alternator on my vehicle ($580). I was asked to drop off the vehicle later that afternoon and the car would be repaired by the next day. There was never any discussion of an inspection or an inspection fee. I was called the next morning to go over the results of the inspection. all of this is fine, although, i never asked for an inspection. i just wanted the alternator replaced. I was informed that the cost to replace the alternator was in fact almost double ($980) what the original estimate was. I said please put the vehicle back together and I would pick it up later that afternoon. That is when i was informed of he cost to inspect the vehicle. It was $111 dollars for them to tell me what I already knew (the alternator was bad and needed to be replaced). The customer service person was incredibly rude and accused me of being abusive when I questioned why i was never informed of the inspection fee. Over and over again they said i was abusive when i asked simple questions. Not a good company to do work with. Definitely cannot be trusted. I feel helpless when dealing with companies like this. I advise you look at their overall rating and go elsewhere to get your vehicle repaired. It is simply not worth it.
