I hired Jerrico ******, Autumn Air Heating & Cooling to install a heat run into a new bedroom within a rental property that we were renovating. He put in a heat run, but didn't verify that any heat made it into the bedroom. Well, sure enough, there was no heat coming to the room. In addition, he cut the carpet around where the register was supposed to be, even though my contractor specifically told him not to do so. He cut into the carpet above where the register was supposed to be put in. Furthermore, he turned off my furnace and lied about it on one of the coldest days in Colorado. I specifically texted him on 12/21/2022, that same afternoon, to verify that he remembered to turn back on the furnace and he sent me a text message back stating that the furnace was on. Well, he flat out lied and when my contractor came in the next morning, the house was freezing, toilet bowls were frozen, kitchen sink faucet had an icicle coming from it, etc. After all the pipes were dethawed (took days), we discovered additional damage from a broken water pipe in the front bathroom underneath the home. My contractor and I tried to meet with him to resolve the matter and he chose to dodge our calls and text messages. If I can't resolve this with Jerrico, I plan on taking his company to small claims court to get reimbursed for the damage he caused and additional labor fees I incurred to resolve the issues he caused. Overall, I want Jerrico ****** and his company to reimburse me for the damage he caused to my rental property.
