In late 2022 we hired Artistic Floors by Design to refinish, stain and seal some existing wood floors and then add matching wood floors to an adjoining room. We always have tried to use and support local businesses for the customer support, even when the prices are higher than competitors. We were promised that we would be satisfied and happy with the finished product. We are not and we were treated poorly by the owners. After finishing the project in July we noticed staining anytime there was anything wet on the floor. We were told that if we didnt leave a ****** review we would not receive the cleaning product which was mandatory for their warranty and satisfaction clause. We notified the company about the dozens of white water stains in September. It took until November to have *** the owner come out. We also noticed gaps in the floors and poor cuts in what they installed in comparison to our older floors that were tight. We were told that stains arent normal and he would help us resolve the stain with trying the same top coat again. He also told us if that didnt work he would use another product. He came back in January, put on a new top coat in a small area and we still had the same stain issue. *** then blamed us and would not put on a different top coat. He also started to insult my wife at this point. After several attempts he finally came back with the top coat manufacturer (and he would not supply the name of the product after multiple times asking). They did testing, spilled more water on our floor and created new spots and then claimed that everything was done correctly and they would not be helping us any further. We tried multiple times to get a resolution, and expected a good service. At the end of the day, they are not good honest people. They dont care. I do NOT recommend using this company and suggest finding someone who will stand behind their services. We are left with a poor customer and stains on our floor.Customer response

Id like to have a product used on our floors that doesnt create water stains or a refund in order to have someone else properly finish our floors.
