  *************************** was hired on June 10, 2023 for a concrete and landscaping job. She sent an invoice for $7,000 for all of the work to be completed which included mudjacking the right side garage slab and pouring new concrete, pouring a new concrete slab on the back patio, and realizing the entire side of the backyard to slope away from the house. We paid her a 50% deposit of $3,500 on that day. She said the work would be done in 4-5 days and it has been 3 weeks. On June 22nd she said that she added in concrete work to the left side of the garage, she added a step to the back patio that we did not agree on or ask for, and added on an additional $2,500 of work that was already done without our permission. She would not continue to complete the work without the final payment of $6,000, which was $2,500 more than the original invoice. The work completed is not up to the standard we agreed on. She left a huge pile of dirt in our backyard that she agreed to level out. There is concrete splash all over the side of our house and back sliding glass door causing damage that will need to be painted and repaired. She has refused to fix the damage she caused and level out the dirt.

  To add onto this complaint, we also discovered that she completely demolished one of our bushes in our front yard with her machine and poured concrete water into our grass. Every time we have tried to contact her to resolve this she tells us we are harassing her. She sent me a text message stating she added on work and it would be an extra $1,500, but she already completed the work without my authorization and demanded more money from me. She added in a concrete step that I did not authorize and charged me extra for that. She demanded a check for the remaining balance before even completing the work. She sent me personal pictures of her children for sympathy and to make us feel bad, which doesnt relate to the work she performed. I was baffled by her unethical and unprofessional business practices.

  She also did not fully fix or seal the hole like she said she would. There is still a hole that water can get down into. The patio she fixed isnt level and water pools in the middle.
  
  Here are pictures of the garage concrete work that isnt even and the concrete doesnt appear to be mixed properly.  She left gaps between the concrete slabs that water can get down into and damage the foundation.
