Horrible company. I do NOT recommend and neither do several other people, so make sure you read their reviews. The first job we had them do was over the summer and was about $3k worth of work pulling out some trees and re-doing our pathway. ****** was in charge and did a good job. However, when we ended up with a burst pipe in the front yard, they sent someone out to fix it without coordinating with us first and we happened to be out of town. We gave them the code to our garage so they could fix it and the worker ending up turning off our sprinkler system and never turned it back on. We were gone for 2 weeks and came home to dead grass. They did nothing to help us with this and since we were close to turning off our sprinklers anyway, we let it slide. We decided to give them one more chance and asked them to come out and do leaf pickup in October and trim our trees out front. They originally quoted me $20 (which later they explained was only the dump fee) and did not even trim our trees. The final **** was almost $200 for just leaf removal and they wouldnt own up to their miscommunication. *************************** is a HORRIBLE manager who is completely disorganized and rude. She was yelling at my husband and I on the phone and cutting us off. Terribly unprofessional. Even though Ive tried several times to contact her over this ****, she refused to explain anything to me or return my calls and e-mails and then she threatened to send us to their attorney due to non-payment on $180 ****. This company is TERRIBLE and mismanaged. I would run far away if I were you. They will never be getting our business again and I hope you listen to our warning and dont end up in the same spot.

Thank you for allowing us to complete the project for you and thank you for the positive feedback on the work Victor and his team provided. We did come out and fixed the burst pipe at no charge. It should also be noted that this burst pipe had no relation to the project that was completed. Victor agreed to fix this because of his commitment to providing excellent service. We are very sorry to hear your grass died because the water was turned off. We are quite confident had you requested the water be turned on we would have come out and turned the water back on for you. We are sorry for any misunderstanding regarding cost or charges for the leaf pickup and tree trimming services. However, in this case, the client thought he/she was quoted tree trimming and leaf pickup for $20. The client clearly misunderstood as we communicated our standard $70/man/hr plus $20/yard dump fee at the time the job was scheduled. Our two-man crew was there 1 hour and hauled away 2 yards of leaves and debris. The client was billed $180. Unfortunately, we could not trim the tree because the crew did not have the appropriate equipment the day they were at the property. We offered to go back to the property, but the client did not accept that offer. In addition, we have tried to explain our standard rates and charges but the client seems only to want to argue. The client was asked what an acceptable amount would be for the completed service, and they did not offer an acceptable amount and did not want to negotiate. We are sorry you feel you were lied to, but this is clearly a misunderstanding. Hughes Landscaping has thousands of satisfied customers and will continue to strive to provide excellent service to those happy clients as well as the many new customers who are looking for a reliable landscape maintenance or landscape construction provider.
