  8/15/2023 $102 was paid for a massage $20 was paid for a tip After paying a 20% tip the manager (or owner) said you should pay a little bit more, she worked very hard referring to my massage therapist! Outrageous! The nerve of this woman! Not only was I required to pay $100 UP FRONT, before I even had the massage (and I was also charged $2 just to use my debit card) but then a $20 tip was not sufficient for the manager who didnt even lift a finger. Additionally, this means that if you dont have cash for a tip you will have to run your card a second time for the tip after the massage, which will incur another bogus $2 charge just for using the card. She then pointed to an arbitrary tip scale they had posted on the wall that they of course just made up, and which said I should give more than 20%. I explained first of all that commenting on a customers tip amount is extremely rude, even if you are the owner or even if it is socially acceptable in your culture. Secondly, I said that an arbitrary tip scale which you randomly made up and posted does not determine the amount a customer is required to tip. And finally, I said that a 20% tip on any service is standard, acceptable, and generous. Will never return.The owner or manager of this business has been harassing customers for years to increase their tip amount. This screams of poor wages for her masseuses. She needs to be investigated immediately.

  I just learned that my complaint was closed because you are unable to investigate a business for failing to pay their employees a legal salary which is obviously what is happening at Relux spa. If you are unable to investigate, then I am requesting to reopen my complaint and my desired outcome would be a full refund for the services provided to me on 8/15/2023.
