I had submitted 3 RAM truck loads that has a high camper shell full of items, some of high value. I have been having a difficult time getting paid for these auctioned items from prior to Christmas-this included many old antique camers, auctioned for $approx. $1,500, Old collectible Hallmark ornaments in the original box ****** auctioned for approx. $1200. A ********* blanket with the tags which sold for , art, many muffy bears, old/new with tags-all excellent condition. ..the list goes on and on. **** stated in the parking lot he would make good on this. He later stated he found a check for over $300 under paper work on his desk. He further stated he would send my money prior to his going on vacation-this did not happen. This place stated that they saran wrap everything in bulk with my name-they coincidently now have people write an itemized sheet of items to be auctioned. If I were to guess on the amount owed to me it would be $800-$1000. I can send pictures of the hundreds of items. Many of this was my collection. I can submit the sales from this auction house and how much money I actually am without.

      Complaint: 20231828

I am rejecting this response because:  The elaborate response was untrue.  Why they are stating untrue facts are beyond me.  The fact is there is absolutely NO mention of all my old cameras, I gave **** copies of the sold camera pictures, not one mention what-so-ever, this among other many things, I brought to them and trusted they would do the right thing in labeling MY property.  I can only assume with all the clutter, massive items to be auctioned off,  my stuff and my money was given to another client of theirs.  This is inexcusable the manner in which they treated my property.  It is inexcusable to hold me liable for property that I entrusted to them.  They never gave itemized lists to me of my property, they have since changed that policy.  In fact, one of their employees stated they were having problems because of the manner property was/wasn't being tagged.

I have many cameras (old), many unaccounted for as well as unaccounted for Hallmark ornaments.  If anyone's confused its this auction house. I know my property and what I have.  The reason one of the  checks #**** was not cashed is because I have not received it.  I believe it's ok for people to make mistakes and own it-I would and in this case, I feel totally disrespected.  I dealt 2 times with **** and my initial drop off was with ***********  I had emailed, called, gone by with a list of MY items-totally ignored by this company.   This company likes to take a long time to pay people auctioning their property.

Although I would like an amicable resolution, even taking a loss.  I think if the company contacted some of the people that received money for my items, they would be surprised at how unprofessional this was handled.  I feel that the letter in response was extremely harsh towards me.
      Sincerely,

      *************************

      Complaint: 20231828

I am rejecting this response because:  First of all, I may have signed paperwork that was blank of the items being dropped off.  You did not itemize anything-you were swamped and property was everywhere.   NOTHING WAS ON THE AUCTION SHEET YOU HAD ME SIGN and you are fully aware of that fact. That being said, I would just like the check you state I failed to pick up.  You don't need to go on and on about something you know is false.     I know my property and you are incorrect in all of the statements you have made thus far, whether deliberate or not you are wrong.  I have no reason to state something was mine if it  weren't-I don't need your money for other peoples property. However,  that being said, it's your story and yours alone.    You show your arrogance in you exaggerated writings of incorrect facts, this and correcting my spelling-hardly necessary and irrelevant.

      Sincerely,

      *************************
