1-Jul-21We signed the Proposal and Work Agreement for ************************ Services, already signed by Jesik 6-Jul-21Paid Jesik for geotechnical engineering services - $1681.25 8-Jul-21Payment to Jesik for geotechnical engineering services cleared bank 8-Jul-21Emailed ***** at Jesik with plot map and site plan 14-Jul-01Kelly met Jesik at property and dropped off plans their trailer (*******)22-Aug-21Email from **** implying he saw Jesik on site indicating the soil drilling was complete 2-Sep-21Voicemail from ******* - Indicates testing is complete and waiting for engeneering work to be completed.27-Oct-21Kelly called and spoke to ******* who indicated the work "might be done"6-Dec-21Kelly sproke with ******* who said we would have our plans Friday (10 Dec 2021) by COB 29-Dec-21Kelly left negative ****** review 14-Jan-22Spoke to *******. She spoke to the owner. ******* left voice mail stating owner wont finish the work until the negative review is taken down.14-Jan-20Kelly updated review to 5 stars and removed all negative wording.1-Feb-22Called and sproke to ******* regard status. Said owner was out and she would call back after asking him the status upon his return 3-Feb-22Kelly called and spoke to ******* regarding status. Again told she would ask the owner and call back.* Many calls have been made throughout this process and not detailed in the timeline above. Often being told by Jesik employees (******* or *****) that they would "find out" and return the call but did not. ** Contract states that the work should be completed in 14 days.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:On December 10, 2021 I was contacted by an employee of Jesik, a male I do not remember his name, who said the owner was wanting to make sure about the foundation for the 2 structures. I did not have the information in front of me at that moment and could not recall the specifics. When we ended the call, I examined our copies of the plans for both structures. Jesik has these very same plans, hand delivered to ******* at their ************* in July. Each plan includes the foundation plan. One was post and beam and the other poured slab. I called the employee back at the number from which they called *************) within 10 minutes of the previous call. I explained and confirmed the 2 different foundations and asked if there was anything else needed. He said they have that information and **** would continue working. At no time was I asked for any additional information or plans. Since that call on December 10th, we have called Jesik multiple times to check status. Each time the call was answered, either ***** or *******, we were told the plans were almost complete and should be ready by the end of the week. This response continued throughout December. Finally in mid January the message left on voicemail from *******, states clearly, that withholding our plans was retaliation due to a poor review left on Google. Over the many months we have been waiting for the work to be completed, and the many times we called, never has anyone ever asked us for anything additional. Over 7 months ago we paid Jesik to complete geotechnical engineering work which we have not received therefore a full refund is warranted.

********************* instructed the design engineer to build both houses with a thickened edge slab when the designer contacted a second phone number in the project after attempts were made to contact ********************. After the foundations were drawn, ******************** telephones and stated that one of the houses was a post and beam foundation.
Phone calls have been made to ******************** 2 and 3 weeks ago requesting information about insulating the house that were never returned. The plans ******************** provided to not indicate a stem wall or any form of insulation a house floor suspended above the ground. The plans provided to JEsik do not meet code and are illegal. Jesik will not design an illegal foundation that does not meet current building codes.

I am rejecting this response because:I have contacted by phone ******* at Jesik and explained that we have never been told we needed to supply any additional information to them. She reported to me that the plans with the post and beam foundation needs to also have a stem wall of either CMU (blocks) or ICF. She said they needed an email from us stating which, CMU or ICF, would be used so they could finish the work. I sent an email later that day (Friday 11 Feb., 2022) specifing CMU for that structure. We are now waiting for the work to be completed.
