      Stayed here before. Booked a trip for the end of the month because I had a tumor removed. Thinking all positive things and would enjoy the hotsprings. Pathology report came back no bueno so could only do a day down that way and had booked it for 4. Canceled the moment I found out. Explained the situation. Absolutely no empathy. Kept getting told 2 different stories by ****** vs Airbnb. Host stated they couldnt refund it cause it had blocked the dates out. Airbnb said I could then rebook it. At this point fine, I can enjoy a day or 2 and just eat the rest so no one would be out of $. Host absolutely refuses to rebook me or give me my money back. I even led with I could send my doctors information out the gate. Nope. Horrible operation of business. Who does that. Shame on them!!!!

      We are writing in response to the complaint filed by **** regarding their recent experience with our property. We take all guest feedback seriously and appreciate the opportunity to address this matter.We deeply empathize with **** and their health situation, and we regret any inconvenience caused by the cancellation of their reservation. However, we must clarify the circumstances surrounding their booking and subsequent cancellation.

      **** made two separate reservations with us through Airbnb. For the first reservation, they cancelled within the designated policy timeframe and received a full refund. However, for the second reservation, they cancelled outside of the policy timeframe.

      Despite ****'s assertion that they were told conflicting information by our team and Airbnb, we want to assure you that our actions were in strict adherence to Airbnb's policies and guidelines. **** is aware of these cancellation policies before booking and before cancelling.

      Furthermore, we were disappointed by ****'s decision to resort to threatening behavior before allowing us the opportunity to find a mutually agreeable solution. Such conduct hindered our ability to address their concerns effectively.

      At our property, we strive to provide exceptional service and support to all our guests. We genuinely regret any dissatisfaction experienced by **** and remain committed to upholding the highest standards of customer service.We hope this response clarifies the situation and demonstrates our dedication to resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally.Should you require any further information or clarification, please do not hesitate to contact us directly.

      Date of stay ***** Nov 2022 Amount Paid: $109.01 This is a property we have used many times in the past. It has always been quaint and quirky.When we checked into our room we found:1- mold on the ceiling 2- mold in the corners of the bathroom 3-Blood/Food spattered on the space heater.4- Unfinished sharp tile edges 5- Several holes under the front door 6- What appears to be mold spores on the heater 7- A non functioning heater 8- A space heater, turned up to *** plugged into a power strip which also contained a microwave, coffee pot and refrigerator 9- Frayed wiring 10- Marketed as a non smoking establishment with penalties to be applied, and the motel office smells strongly of cigarette smoke.11- Coded door locks, which are not changed with each guest, are a security risk 12- Posted signs do not agree with the website stipulations or the email confirmation 13- The hot tub advertised as an amenity was not available as the office could not open the lock 14- One of the electric car charges, advertised as an amenity, was not available as it was "not working"15- TV failing, as there are white lines across the screen which eventually bleed into color blocks making it unusable.16- Missing lighting in the headboard of the bed, and other lighting not working ********** staff was unconcerned about any of the above. The security hazards, fire hazards, health hazards and lack of providing what is stated in the agreement of rental should be addressed by the appropriate authorities.
