We hired Yard Builders to landscape the back yard of our new house. Big mistake. Everything we have read from other people who have left reviews we experienced.Once they get your 50% down payment you can forget the schedule originally estimated. No communication, you never know what is going on or when they will show up. They come for an hour or so and then are gone. The main issue however is workmanship. We did a very basic yard with sprinkler install, landscape rocks and sod. The sprinkler system has worked fine but the sod delivered and installed looked like it was left over from some other job. Almost dead and full of weeds. Big gaps between most of the strips of sod and no prep work before laying the sod. Just laid it over holes, rocks debris. The worst job of sod installation I have ever seen. Called Scott and after several attempts to get him over to look he finally came to look. He said since it was almost time for the grass to go dormant he wanted to wait until spring when he would contact the company he bought the sod from to replace the bad sod. Spring came and we contacted Scott. We set a time and day for him to come over to discuss and to my great surprise, Scott was a no show. Tried several times to contact him with no luck. i have only mentioned a small sample of the problems we experienced with this company which have already been mentioned by other reviewers. The most frustrating experience with a contractor of my life. I highly recommend not using this company!!
