I hired Marketing mountaineers to build me a website using my domain. I agreed to a 6 week contract that would launch my website in 6 weeks and it would be beautiful. At week 12 I began to get upset at the lack of professionalism, communication and respect for the project at hand, I requested a refund. They launched my website and denied a refund. My contract with them was until August 26, 2021. Communication started to diminish around beginning of May 2021 after the launch. They provided me a code and password with no instructions that did not work. I didn’t think much of it as my contract still had some months, I didn’t really need much until the end of July I needed some information and I never heard back. I have attempted to reach them multiple times via email and via phone to get passwords and codes to gain access to my host site. I have contacted host gator who hosts my site and their email is listed as the contact and There is a pin associated to it. I have asked for the pin and I have heard no response. According to their social media pages, ******** and so forth- their business is still open. I need the codes and passwords to ********* and hostgator for my domain that I own. That’s is all I want. Host gator said I can file a court order and I have already started the process with my lawyer. This website is the life line of my business. All of my products have this website listed. It would cost me thousands of dollars if I had to purchase a new domain and build a new site and buy all new merchandise with a new website. I’m exhausted and this seems like an Easy fix and they are intentionally ignoring me because I was unhappy with their work. I still paid the $3500 and expected my contract to be fulfilled. I would like to update you and let you know I finally received some communication from marketing mountaineers. For now I can close this dispute, I will initiate again if they do not comply any further. I appreciate your time and please let me know if I can do anything else.
