This owner, ***, blocked me on ******** after I asked her for the price and cabin category of an upcoming Alaskan cruise. She responded that I needed to send her a private message for that very basic, fundamental information - and suggested I leave her Discount Travel group. Before I could even respond, she blocked me. Certainly not a very professional way to operate a business!

***************************** has never purchased anything through our business yet feels the need to create drama and disrespect of our staff and other members/clients on the ******** groups page. She has chosen upon numerous occasions to not follow the rules of the page and to disrespect our staff and our business processes. We have rules on our ******** page just as any other group or business does in an effort to have the page flow smoothly and service all of our clients efficiently. ***** feels that sending us a message to answer her questions directly about our deals (including cruises) "gives her pause" and that she only wants to post on the page and have answers publicly rather than sending us a direct message so that we can assist her and answer all of her questions. She fails to recognize and appreciate the nature of our business servicing over 100K satisfied customers. We ask that people contact us directly (email, phone, social media direct message etc) with questions they have because our groups page is so large and we service such a large client base that we do not want questions lost in the page and want to be able to respond to our clients with immediate service. We like to work directly with the customer to make sure they have all of their questions answered and so they receive personal one on one attention that we give to all of our clients. We have been in the business for over 35 years and we manage our business groups page with respect, honestly and integrity for all members of our page and our staff. Therefore, we do remove anyone that cannot behave in a respectful, kind, appropriate manner to our staff and towards other members and creates unnecessary drama - which in *****'s case was her creating drama and being disrespectful over not wanting to directly contact us with her questions which is how any business operates. We do not find that she is a good fit for our business or our other clients and therefore we wish her the best in her journey finding a business that fits her demands and allows her to not follow rules on their social media pages and that allows her to create unwarranted drama.
