I had my front brakes replaced by this shop on September 16 on that day I told him two times that the car was making grinding noises and it didnt sound right, they told me that they couldnt hear anything. On September 25 I was driving over a mountain pass, and the grinding started also making the vehicle shutter and included thumping that I could feeling my feet and in the steering wheel. I contacted them and they told me that I could make it home, however, I ignored their advice and just pulled over. When I pulled over the Lugnuts on the wheelWere only finger tight, and obviously they had never tightened them down. When the wheel was loose in the wheel well it caused damage to the wheel bearing, and the brake. They also put one of my studs on the hub and the brake is stuck shut and will not release either because the piston in the caliper is stuck or because it seems like there must be some Air in the lines. At this point they are refusing to help me, and I am stuck at home because my truck is inoperable. I would like them to make the brakes work, replace the brake pads at their expense if necessary, repair or replace the wheel bearing and the parts of the brakes that were damaged and also fix the stud on the hub that they broke off. I dont think this is too much to ask considering that if that wheel wouldve came off on that Mountain Pass I couldve easily gone off the side of the mountain and died. Please help as I am out of options, And it seems as though they do not have any garage keepers liability insurance and they refuse to accept any responsibility saying that someone or something else mustve caused this, the bottom line is it all started on the day that they did the brakes and they did not Do the repairs to the best of their ability and caused damage to other parts and a potential huge safety concern. Thank you in advance for your consideration and helping me out.
