They came to fix a pinhole leak in a copper flex pipe connected to our hot water heater. The tech went into a deep explaintion about how complex a job it was, how if not done properly is could permanently shut down one of our floor heating zones, etc. He said he'd have to drain and refill the entire tank. I signed the estimate quote of $950. He finished the job in exactly 40 minutes. Never had to drain the tank. Simply replaced a 10 inch piece of flex pipe. I feel like a fraud victim to be honest. $950 for 40 minutes work and a 10 inch copper pipe. How can this be legal? It sure as heck isn't ethical? When I complained before giving our credit card, he just said - "it is what it is".

Our family has had Jim Needham do 3 large jobs within the last 12 months (which have cost us over $30,000) and have had issues with all 3. The largest issue left us with a $5,100 repair bill with their restoration service that we were told explicitly by Jim Needham that they were covering. Had they told us the truth from the beginning, that they were not covering costs for the damage we sustained due to their negligence, we certainly would have gone through insurance and gotten quotes to use a more honest restoration service. We had a strange feeling from the moment the tech told us he was sending over their restoration people to take care of the damage. When the company came to our house they started working immediately. They then brought up if we were going through insurance or paying out of pocket. We voiced that we understood that Jim Needham was covering costs. Due to the miscommunication, we asked if they could halt work until we got a better idea of the situation. After many back and forths via text and email, we finally called Jim Needham and were given a verbal agreement by Rose that they were covering the costs associated with the damage and said she made a note in our chart. She offered to call Quick Restore and have them come back to restart the work. I told her I was happy to do that. That may have been a mistake, but I felt as though I finally got clarity and felt good about the situation. We still didnt have a reason to not trust them. After about a week, the restoration company finished the tear down and got rid of the mold. We then received a text from Jim Needham that they were not going to cover the costs. We were then handed a $5,156 bill from the restoration company. Our family feels incredibly taken advantage of and truly sad that we trusted Jim Needham. Had they been honest from the beginning, we would have gone through insurance.

I had scheduled service weeks ago & received a confirmation text yesterday for the appointment today. I even sent a text confirming the pricing 50 minutes prior to the appointment time & got a response right away. All was well and I waited for the tech. When nobody showed up I asked for an ETA and got this response: Hi ***! I left a message with you this morning. Unfortunately, we are very busy with no cools and we will need to reschedule. We can come out next week if you are available?I did not receive any message and let them know I had stayed home from work for this service. Now they want me to stay home another day when I was scheduled today? No, not professional to do this.
