      LISTEN & TAKE HEED OF THE 1-STAR REVIEWS!!! I will NEVER go back to this place nor recommend them! My kitty was profoundly sick. She was an exceptional ***** and was the most patient furrbaby I have ever seen and trained, too! She would sit and allow you to give her insulin injections and trim her claws... an ***** all around. I let them take her to the back to draw blood. During that same visit and back in the same room as me, she had to have a shot. Two techs in front of me, one being the senior tech who literally showed pleasure in manhandling and roughing up my poor ***** and I am NOT exaggerating!! Grabbed her in the most inhumane manner and actually said out loud with a disgusting tone, "yeahhhhh, you didn't like that when I had to do it earlier, did you?!"! I was so completely shocked that I didn't say anything because THEY are supposed to be the professionals!! The look on my poor baby's face was HORRIFIC and I will NEVER forget it and I will NEVER forgive myself for not grabbing her from that disgusting senior tech woman, repremanding her, and reporting the entire operation!! My baby has since passed away of the very thing I took her there to get help with and TO THIS DAY I think of that look my poor furrbaby had and what happened and it breaks my heart over and over and over again!! I am standing up for my furrbaby now, in her loving memory!! There was ZERO need to do what that tech was doing... Thanks for harming both my furrbaby and me during our visit and having one of the last experiences with her in her final days be you guys HARMING her and giving me a horrible memory that won't go away!! My furrbaby did NOT deserve that, especially while sick! And I have had PTSD for over 35 years and this experience hits deep and added to it!! Good riddance to Huron Animal Hospital and their compassionless, disgusting, inhumane ways! I might still report you all... especially that tech!!!

      What has happened to Huron Animal Hospital in the last 6 months? Don't bring your pets here anymore. I have happily brought my cats and dogs here for 30 years and just that should tell you how satisfied I was. The nightmare began. August 5, 2022 I was told it would take 2-1/2 weeks to get an appointment, but I could walk in. So my Labrador Retriever was sick and I spend 2 hours waiting till he was seen by Dr. ************ who seemed to be in a great hurry, and I **************** were a lot of walk-ins who were waiting to be seen. I mentioned a cough that maybe was kennel cough and without a thorough examination was given a prescription for a cough suppresant. I spent the next week with medication and the cough continued, except for the 8th & 9th day and asked for a refill over the phone. After 5 calls to Huron Thursday and Friday and with assurances I would be called back, it was then I learned that they were now closed on Saturdays as well as Sundays. No call. This is where I should have gone somewhere else, but stupid me--30 years with Huron--I knew I would be helped. Had to return as a walk in two weeks after my initial visit seen again by Dr. ************ who X-rayed and finally put him antibiotic, who now told me my dog had an enlarged heart. Also took full blood work. 5 days later my dog collapsed and died of a heart attack at home. I never received a call back from any doctor, assistant to a doctor, nor any staff member, not even to give me the results of the blood draw. I'm just sick that my calls were never returned. Please don't put your pet through anything like this!

      Took my dog in to be checked out because she was bleeding for two days from a skin tag. They would not even look at her unless I gave a $200 deposit. I was told the deposit would be used for treatment services and anything not used would be refunded. My dog was never seen, no treatment of any kind was given, when I asked for the refund, they became very nasty. I received my receipts for the initial transaction and the voided receipt. I waited two and a half weeks for my refund and still never received it. I tried contacting them a few times and was only able to get someone on the phone once. I explained the situation and asked where my refund was. The response I got was a short dismissive one. The lady in the phone said it would take **** business days then hung up before I could say anything more. I finally had to call my bank and dispute the charges for a service I never received. Terrible business practice, unethical and unprofessional place, no compassion for animals or customers. Only thing they care about is the money they take from you.

      Took my dog in to be euthanized. Called prior because we were having a 3rd party to the aquamation and wanted to make sure that was not a problem. Was told it was not. The company we are using for aquamation also called and was told not problem. I arrive to check in and I got the front desk supervisor. She was rude and had no compassion for what I was dealing with. She was more worried about money and what to do with the body. She told me to calm down and that there was no reason to be angry multiple times. She required calling the company doing aquamation before she would finish checking in and did it in speaker phone. After she found out I already paid the other company she called again on speaker phone to verify what she had to charge me. Then there was a consent to sign by my roommate, the other owner, who was in the car with the dog distraught. She wanted me to go to the car and have him come into sign the consent. I told her it could wait until we were in a room and she wanted to argue that as well. When we were taken to a room she was ******* us. When we left no kind words or anything from the front staff. A person in the waiting room showed more compassion then her. This clinics techs and doctors are great people nice and compassionate. There front desk staff are always rude and have no customer service skills. If it was not for the back office staff, I would have left.
