My daughter ****** had Braces 3 years ago. Now the company is trying to bill me for ****** with no explanation for the charges. At least one month ago, I went to the office to sign a release of records requesting my entire file. To this date, the agency has not sent me the records. I also made a phone call to our Dental Insurance GEHA dental, and the Insurance representative informed me that I should not owe anything to the provider. The representative told me that the billing department from Colorado Family Orthodontics should call GEHA dental to clarify this situation. To this date, they have not contacted the insurance and they are continuing to send me an unjustified bill.

I keep receiving a bill from this company that I never had any contact with. I called them and they apologized but continue to send late notices for a service I never received. The bill is for $549.55.

I have been seen at this office since 2020 and in that year I was fitted with braces. Since ************************************************************************************************************************ for weeks and weeks out. I have paid over $3,000 for my orthodontia and was nearly done before Dr. ******* came into the clinic. Now, my oral health is in jeopardy. My teeth have rotated in opposite directions and are now shifting the wrong way. The doctor is unwilling to return phone calls and the office manager, ****** has been condescending and rude every time I have interacted with her and the dental assistants. I no longer feel comfortable or safe trusting this office with my oral healthcare. I would like a refund and apology for the unnecessary stress and new financial strain this will cause to seek a helpful and competent office.

On Wednesday, April 5, 2023, I received a bill from Colorado Family Orthodontics. I have never done business with this company. In 2021 I contracted with ****** Orthodontics and ************ for orthodontia work for my child *********************************. **************** moved to Colorado Family Orthodontics. When I contracted back in 2021 I paid for her services in full. I sent an email to the info email with all of the documentation on April 5, 2023. On April 12, 2023, I received two paper bills from Colorado Family Orthodontics but now they are in my minor child's name. I called on 4/12/2023 and left a message. I called again on 4/13/2023 and had to leave another message. The staff refuses to call back. They are trying to ruin the credit rating of a minor child. There have been no contracted services with Colorado Family Orthodontics. In fact, **************** failed to perform the full services he was paid for. This harassment needs to stop and this account needs to be deleted.

I am rejecting this response because: the company did not read and address the issue in my complaint.  My child was NOT a patient and we agree on that.  So why is the company sending me invoices for services when my child was NOT a patient as they have clearly stated.

      Sincerely,

      *****************************

******************** private practice was purchased and acquired by Colorado Family Orthodontics location to include any outstanding accounts receivable.  For ********************, on 3/17/23, an outstanding balance was provided in the acquisition to which the location last attempted to collect in September of 2023.  Reviewing ********************** BBB concern and stating that her daughter's services were already paid to ******************** private practice in full, it has been decided that there must have been a transactional error and Colorado Family Orthodontics has reversed the erroneous balance.  There will be no further attempts to collect as the balance is now zero.  Please accept our apologies.

I agreed to pay approx $3000 for orthodontic care from this provider. My insurance was to cover the rest. I have multiple complaints against this office.1) I moved to ******** during the treatment. They would not return my calls when I told them it wouldn't work for me to fly out there and I needed to cancel and stop being charged.2) They did not perform quality services when I was living in Colorado. I complained of trays slipping off my teeth and the doctor kept telling me I needed to just bite on "chewies."3) I requested more chewies the at my last visit and the nurse said they were out but came back with disposable saliva ejectors and told me to bite on those when the trays started coming off.4) The package was open when she handed it to me and had 3 saliva ejectors. I used one instead of the normal "chewy" they had given me. I noticed a funny taste when I was using it, but didn't think anything of it. I looked at the other two saliva ejectors and realized they were used. They had dried blood on the tips from someone else's mouth!
