I booked a vacation a month in advance at this resort. 2 days later I had to cancel because other guests were joining us and they could not offer what we needed. I booked over the phone and they convinced me to buy their travelers insurance, so that I could get a refund issued if needed. I did so and they refused to refund my 1580.46 deposit. They said they would give back the insurance money, but we have not received it yet. We want a full refund. Anyone knows with any hotel a refund would be given even without this insurance when the booking is still a month away!!! This company is sneaky and underhanded and should be avoided at all costs. There is enough time they will surely rent this room out anyway. Why should they keep our money when I cancelled immediately after booking? They present the deal like this "initial deposit is non-refundable, but if you want to add travelers insurance...." you follow? Stay away from this business and find someone more honest to stay with.Business response

The general manager of the location that had the interaction with the guest reached out and resolved directly and apologized for the initial response. We believe at this time the case is resolved and request that you confirm and close. Please advise if you need anything further.
