First & foremost, ******'s Restaurant is deemed Not in Good Standing by Colorados Secretary of State for its failure to file required reports since October 30, 2020. The following observations are based on our recent dining experience & confirmed by other diners reviews.Lack of Transparency: We attempted to reach out to the owner of the restaurant, *************************** to complain about our experience, but was told that he was not the owner. We could find no contact info for ***************************, the owner according to ******* Articles of Organization.Price ******************** Pricing: Their prices are among the highest of the most upscale restaurants in Winter Park. They also subject their customers with constant ******************* service fees. Examples include offering $6 bottled water w/out mentioning that free tap water is an option, pushing expensive specials without noting the price & charging $15 for premium glass of wine w/out offering the house brand. Although these practices are legal, they just arent appropriate for this type of far-from-Michelin rated type of restaurant.False *************************** name & entire business model is founded on falsely marketing a traditional specialty dish.While what they serve is palatable, it is far from the traditional Spanish paella in which Bombo or Arborio rice & accompanying ingredients are simmered together, then placed on an open flame to create the signature soccarat. Denvers ********* Bar which is known for their outstanding Paella charges the same price for twice the amount.as Paellas.Questionable Reviews: Paella has hundreds of positive reviews, many of them likely genuine. However, customers should always be wary when multiple 5-star reviews magically appear within days of posting a critical one. I urge those reading this to filter reviews from negative to positive. I urge people to avoid this establishment until they stop taking advantage of their customers.
