I booked a service with Grand Adventures in Winter Park, Colorado (*********************************************) to go snowmobiling with five other people. The reservation was booked under ****** *****, and the reservation number was ******. While driving, my group encountered heavy snow and icy roads about 20 minutes from our destination. We contacted Grand Adventures and spoke with Hannah who was rude and kept saying there was nothing she could do for us when we asked if she knew of a tow truck service or other means of transportation to get up the mountain. She offered to rebook our snowmobiling experience for a later time that day, but we would have to pay once again for the experience. Even if we wanted to take her up on the offer, we couldn't because it was unsafe to keep driving on the road. There were also other cars that had to stop because of how icy and unsafe the driving conditions up the mountain were. Everyone from my travel group is out of town, so we have no clue how icy the roads in Denver can get and we thought the car we rented would be sufficient for the snow. I am not the first person to have had a situation like this recently, as there are other reviews from people online on *********** stating they had transportation issues getting up the mountain in heavy snow and the staff was unhelpful or downright rude about it and wouldn't return their money.
