On June 28, 2022, I purchased a new 2022 ** *** *** (electric golf cart) with the VIN number, ***************** from Gary P******* of International Motor Cars on the ****** ******** ** ****** **. Shortly after taking delivery the cart began to shutdown completely while in operation on the road. The cart continues to shutdown while in operation with no warning. I have had ongoing communications regarding the electrical failures and the other structural problems with the cart. I sent the letter below to Gary P******* by **** certified mail. He has responded and is unwilling to warranty the golf cart. I am seeking a refund or a replacement. April 30, 2023 Re: 2022 ** *** *** electrical malfunctions and structural issues Dear Gary, On June 6, 2022, I purchased a new 2022 ** *** *** with the VIN number, *****************. As you are aware, the vehicle has had continued malfunctions and structural issues. This vehicle: Routinely loses power and shuts down completely while driving without warning The backup camera does not function The front left break leaks fluid The rear cargo deck, and cargo deck support do not line up making the cargo option unusable The rear seat step/frame has a significant sag The roof frame supports “squeak” while in operation The cooler latch is broken There is a missing access cover in the forward left compartment I have contacted you several times regarding the individual mechanical and electrical issues and you have not taken steps to resolve them. One of the largest selling points for this vehicle was its warranty. Since this vehicle has not functioned appropriately since the time of purchase, I would like to return it under warranty. If this is not an issue you have seen with the same make and model as other vehicles, I am willing to try a new one. If not, I would like a full refund. I look forward to working with you to find an adequate solution. Enclosed is a copy of my purchase order.
