We hired John three years ago to remodel a bathroom, installing tile, a new vanity, sink and countertop, and a linen closet. He designed the closet, making a former wasted space a useful storage unit. We were so pleased with the results of that job, that we did not hesitate to call him again. This project was to update a mudroom to prepare for having a custom closet system installed. John was meticulous in his measurements, making sure that the closet installation would fit exactly over the new floor, and that the doors to the outside and inside would clear. He also sketched out a plan for laying the tile which was attractive and eliminated waste. John is honest about costs, and bills in increments as each part of the job is completed so there are no surprises at the end. Our recommendation? If you want quality work, honest pricing, and commitment, hire him. ***** *

John is a very friendly person and made detailed drawings of our project. We had a full bathroom that needed to be gutted, including a 4" thick tile floor. John removed the old tub and installed new washer and dryer. The job was completed ahead of schedule and everything worked out as we hoped. Tom B

We hired Mr. Arnone to reconstruct our bathroom which was damaged and demolished by a flood. His estimate was clear, concise and complete. I first have to say that he is extremely knowledgable about building code. He was willing to work around our schedules and reviewed progress and difficulties every step of the way. His work is always neat, clean and meticulous. He is always willing to provide invaluable advice for the proper and most efficient way to remodel. I hired Arnone Building And Remodeling Inc. to change all my interior doors of my home from hollow core flush doors to solid pine panel doors with new hardware. This included bedroom and bathroom entrance doors including the closet and the door leading to basement. All the doors look great and shut well as they should! They were always very neat and clean and very conscious of their surroundings. I highly recommend them, and I look forward to my next project with them with confidence.

John was instrumental in me purchasing my first home. A 203k homestyle loan on a non-livable foreclosure. John completed major work including replacing the front roof in winter all at a price that fit my budget. John also installed flooring throughout the home. The floor was not flat and this obviously made installing the flooring more difficult. John showed his skill and experience by working around this and still doing a clean nice install. I would not hesitate to hire John again.

I had the pleasure of working with a remarkable contractor who completed a second addition to our home. He also did out wrap around porch and deck the following year. His commitment to fairness, honesty, and precision is truly exceptional. From the start, he provided a detailed bid and timeline that he stuck to without any surprises. His craftsmanship and attention to detail in the project were outstanding, and the results exceeded our expectations. What sets him apart is his willingness to provide invaluable advice on a home project as well as investment properties, going above and beyond the typical contractor-client relationship. In summary, I highly recommend this contractor for his exceptional work and dedication to his clients' well-being. There are a lot of contractors out there with low bids who will end up charging you far more than their original quote. With the exception of changes I made, John stayed in budget for everything he that was in his bid. I highly recommend him.

John inspected a load-bearing beam that our inspector initially reported would likely need to be replaced (very expensive!). John took time to inspect the beam and the surrounding area, explain his findings and make recommendations. Since John provided us with an honest and clear prognosis, we did not end up having to hire him for a potentially very expensive job. We WILL be using him in the future for multiple other projects!

It should be noted to the public that this Inspector was not the Official Town Building Inspector, it was a private independent inspector that noted the girder needs further inspection. Work does need to be done to the girder, but very minimal based on my solution. Completely Happy!! Our home had reached the age of needed updates. We did our research by googling reviews on various contractor web pages and asking for opinions of friends, relatives others about the contractors they had hired. We chose Arnone Building & Remodeling. Are we glad we did!! John is a great professional to deal with. The craftsmanship is top of the line. Our replacement windows, Remodeled Kitchen and new tile floors are top notch. Lastly, as a bonus the worksite was left pristine clean. I urge anyone looking to do some remodeling to talk to and get an estimate from Arnone Building and Remodeling.

Review for John I needed flooring throughout most of my home. The existing wood flooring was old and unattractive. I called Arnone Building & Remodeling. I set up an appointment with John Arnone the owner and discussed my situation and needs with him. John came with many different shades of laminate flooring to choose from, he discussed all the details and the process start to finish very thoroughly! A few days later I received a very detailed proposal from prep work to completion along with cost. I did receive a quote that was slightly lower form Another company but I chose to go with John because I was very impressed with his attention to detail and knowledge. I felt more comfortable going with John. John provided a contract with all mentioned details along with starting date and completion date. Project started on time and completed on time! Which was very important to me. John and his assistant were very neat with moving furniture back and forth during installation and at the end of each workday vaccumed the floors and wiped floors with a swiffer and removed all debris! That was something that is very important to me as well showed he cared about how he left the job everyday and made sure it was clean! Thank you so much John I would highly recommend this company to any of my family and friends!
