I paid 3527 for them to fix my head gasket. They said head was also cracked. Misfire on cylinder 2Drove it for a day check engine was back on. Told me to drive it after resetting it. Came on again. Called . Told to drive it. Eventually oil light came on. Now they say they want another 1100 to do the other head cause they only did one. I'm not a mechanic and know you do them both. He has has my car since Oct. 8th again. Still not working on it. Told me about another two weeks to get it in. Says he has other customers. I'm like but did they already pay you. After all this he also told me had he known I could have had a new engine for a slight bit more. I've been out a car over 3 months because of them. No offered rental. Nothing. Just wait and pay us more for the job you already paid us to do. Very upset ***** **** **** *** ********** * ***** ****. They are nice but have done nothing in weeks to make this right! Thank youBusiness response

on3/17.21 ******* brought her car in for a misfire code p0300,we found that the plugs where worn and had low fuel psi, customer ok work.around the end of july 2021 customer came back with a complaint of misfire again, performed compression test and found low compression on driver side cylinder #1.called customer and informed her, told her engine would need to be removed and broken down to see what happened.gave her 3 estimate-$2200-$2500 if just the head gasket failure/second estimate $3500 if the cylinder head was no good and third est was $7500 plus tax, that would be replacing the engine with a new engine.customer wanted to save old engine, took apart and found #1 cylinder rocker arm separated from head, she approved the new head.On 10/7/21 she picked up car, after afew days of driving she called and said the light was back on and noticed oil light would flicker at idle, she dropped back off and we found the misfire was coming from pass side of engine.when she dropped off i told her we would not charge any labor for removing and reinstalling engine but if the pass side head was cracked she would be responsible for purchasing parts, she agreed.because of our schedule being booked for 6-8 weeks i could not give her a date when it would be completed. On 12/10/21 ******* came to shop and wanted to know what was going on,i told her because of our schedule caused by waiting for parts has caused a back up in our schedule.i gave her the option of buying a new engine at my cost and no labor,if that would be good with her,she agreed 12/13/21.we removed her engine on 12/13/21,we should have new engine 12/15/21,she should have back no later 12/20/21.As the business owner i take full respondsibilty for every job that comes through the shop,as i look back i should have communicated better with ******* on this matter,i can only look forward and make sure she is completely satisfied with the work.
