      A new AC unit was installed but the installer Chris didn’t change the evaporator coil as required due to a new system and not compatible with the coil of the old system I already had. The AC stopped working in less than a year and after calling him he is not returning my calls or attempts to finish the job. Not to mention that when he installed the new AC unit he never came back to pick up the old unit costing me over $150 to have it removed. Chris doesn’t return calls and never shows up when he promises he will.

      Business owner Christopher B******** signed a contract with me on May 24, and cashed my $2500 deposit. He has continuously and repeatedly claim to come and "wrap it up" but he either doesn't show up or he comes by for a short while and then claim he has to go get "another part" and then disappear. So far: -he has removed my thermostat from wall and claim he will be back the next day to reattach. It has been more than a month since it was taken off the wall. -he is supposed to remove the old aircon unit and replace it with a bigger brand new unit. He finally removed old unit 2 weeks ago and has not replaced new unit. He claimed he has the new unit a month ago. He is unable to supply me with brand or picture of new unit. -he cleaned up poor workmanship and dangling old wiring in current gas furnace. So far he has removed old wiring (dead wires. not connected, just left behind) that was left by previous contractor. He has replaced a heating duct elbow. He has yet to put in a new switch, seal up the old ducts, or add a new pipe for water discharge, as promised. -he is deliberately dragging on this project by promising to come by to complete the project and then do not show up, or show up for a quick visit and then disappear as he need "another part". As a professional, he should know what parts and tools are needed and be ready!

      On June 8, 2021, I contacted Mr. Chris B******** at TOTAL HVAC & Refrigeration, LLC regrding the need for a repair to our homes Central Air Conditioning System - system outside compressor wasn't turning on. Chris arrived at about 8pm in the evening and after checking the inside system and outside compressor indicted that the "blower motor was burned out", "the main board needed replacement" and "mice had eaten through wires". Based on this assessment I decided to have him replace the unit and he committed that if I gave him $2,500 cash, he could expedite the replacement for the next day. I provided the cash, and he didn't show up the following day. I had to get another provider in, whom said none of what he indicated was wrong was true, it was simply a misconnected wire inside. Mr. B******** has committed to returning my funds numerous times, but broken all those promises. I have sent a certified Payment Demand letter as well. He seems to be a predatory contractor.
