This mechanic shop has had our car for repairs since July 5th 2023, since the beginning of august the date of completion has been pushed and pushed. We were told it could possibly pass final inspection 8/25/23. When we called the shop, all calls are being forwarded to another number because the owner is on vacation and nobody else in the shop can give us any answers. We were told the only capable person who can provide answers won’t be back till after Labor Day and we still won’t know if the car will be ready by then.Business response

1-7-2022 my car was hit by another driver and towed to Stratford Collisions because it was no longer drivable 1-10-2022 I went to go get my personal belongings and the manager refused to let me get my personal belongings out my car due to their policy. I requested a copy of the policy and he refused to give it to me. He asked if he could have my car key so he could roll up my car window. I made sure to record my car and take pictures to send to my insurance. He rolled up the window and I left. 1-12-2022 I called their business to get the bill total and get my car towed so it could get repaired at Toyota. The lady gave me the bill total. I asked her what were the bill details for documentation purposes and she read them out to me and some of the charges sounded suspicious. She mentioned the business documented that they put a window wrap on my car and I told her that there was no window wrap on my car when I showed up, the manager asked for my car key in order to roll up my window b/c the window was wide open. She then replied that the manager said he put a wrap on my window after I left. I said that was not true, my window isn't broken and there was never a wrap it was wide open and I have video proof. She got mad and said shed drop the charge as well as update my estimate accordingly to what I contested, however she didn't give me a new estimate, she just hung the phone up being very rude and unprofessional. I'm fairly sure that the charges they forwarded to Toyota which will be charged to my insurance is fraudulent. I documented this call to prove the malpractice of this shady business. Also I'd like to mention she provided me an email contact to the business however would not provide the policy when requested as well. I found out that they stole from my car after I regained access to it at Toyota. The emergency Roadside Kit and Donut is now gone, and if my car needs emergency tire replacement now I am at safety risk of getting stuck because of their actions.Business response

First of all i do not own STRATFORD COLLISION LLC anymore as i sold that business 2 years ago.
