The following claims appear on its website, Facebook, and Google pages, respectively:
"Get approved! Good credit? Bad Credit? No credit? We can help"
"Guaranteed credit approval or we hand you $500 cash"
"Guaranteed credit approval. If we can't give you an approval in writing, you get $500 cash. Every Vehicle- No Exceptions / No Restrictions"
Such terms can imply that consumer credit will be extended to anyone regardless of the consumer's credit worthiness or financial ability to pay. They must only be used when all credit requests are approved.
BBB requested that Seaview Motors & Repair provide assurances that its policies concerning consumer credit fall within these guidelines, but did not receive a reply.
