12/27 I scheduled and appointment to have a tooth pulled, i was never told they dont' take my insurance even after the called the day before to get the number. I went in for an extraction, he said they were going to do a treatment plan i said I don't need one just pull the tooth. He told me i needed to put bone in there and made me pay 1469 on a credit card while i was sitting in the chair. I started calling my insurance company and it took them over a month to file a claim, then the filed two claims with the exact same things. The claim shows code ***** and ***** which were both denied and says are needed to prepare for an implant. One of the codes says only will pay if the tooth is still there so why was it done. I'm collecting information to bring these questions to the ADA, This was supposed to be a simple extraction and I was charged 3 times what an extraction costs. I tried contacting the office about this once via telephone and 1ce via their contact page and they never responded. 1, Didn't disclose they don't take my insurance. 2. Pushed me into getting work i didn't need 3, Tried billing my insurance company 2ce. 4, Took advantage of a medical situation and price gouged. 5. I'm still not sure about the issue with the 2 codes and have calls in to find out why either or both would be told were necessary for over $1000

In asking about one procedure (a veneer) and being made to sign for it, Dejesus Dental then conned me into getting a different procedure (a crown) that I didn't want and didn't sign for (three people standing over me while I was in the dentist chair). They then pressured me into paying for half of the procedure upfront and out of pocket before any work was done (payment posted to my credit card November 28, 2022). After the dentist finished the first step which is a temporary crown, I left upset that he caused unnecessary pain and my mouth to bleed several times during the procedure. I was also upset that I could no longer get what I really wanted and what I made the appointment for in the first place which was to have a veneer because now that could no longer be an option in the future. The same day while at home I called and asked about the price because their bill didn't add up to what they said it would be. Dejesus Dental had me and my wife speak to three different people who all gave me different answers and prices. One woman in the same conversation told me three different prices which further made it more confusing and I knew that they were "giving me the round around" to make me give up. They also said that they would have Dr. Dejesus himself call me, which never happened. When I asked for a refund and then I would pay the lesser amount that they said I owed, they told me no they could not do it that way. I then decided to have the second part of the procedure done somewhere else at a different dentist, making sure Dejesus Dental did not order the tooth for no reason because they were waiting for me to decide whether I wanted whitening of my teeth first (they would then have to match the tooth so it could not be ordered yet). I canceled the appointment to have no further work done by Dejesus Dental but they deceptively billed my insurance for both procedures knowing that they only did the first procedure of a temporary crown, not the final actual crown.
