ON SEPTEMBER 21, 2023 I ***** ******* PAID $700 TOWARDS A CNA CLASS STARTING ON OCTOBER 4, 2023 WITH AN END DATE OF OCTOBER 31, 2023. THE BALANCE THAT WAS DUE WAS $695. THE REASON FOR DISPUTE IS REFUND. I RECIEVED A CALL FROM JENNIFER THE SECRETARY AT TRAINING DIRECT OF *******,CT ON SEPTEMBER 25. STATING THAT THE CLASS OF CNA STARTING ON OCTOBER 4 IS CANCELLED DUE TO NOT ENOUGH STUDENTS TO ATTEND. DUE TO TRAINING DIRECT CANCELING THE CLASS I SHOULD BE ENTITTLED TO A FULL REFUND BECAUSE I DID NOT CANCEL NOR I REQUESTED FOR A NEW TRAINING DATE. ON THE CONTRACT IT DOES NOT STATE ANYTHING ABOUT TRAINING DIRECT CANCELATIONS, ONLY IF APPLICANT CANCELS OR IF APPLICANT IS TERMINATED. TRAINING DIRECT ******* IS RESPONSIBLE FOR FULL REFUND OF $700. LIEDY ******* CONTACTED TRAINING DIRECT ******* FOR REFUND AND WAS DENIED FULL REFUND. TRAINING DIRECT ******* STATED THAT THE ONLY AMOUNT OF REFUND THAT WAS POSSIBLE WAS $500. TRAINING DIRECT ******* STATED REFUND SHOULD TAKE ABOUT 2 WEEKS. TODAY OCTOBER 27, 2023 I HAVE NOT RECIVED ANY REFUND NOR ANY NOTIFICTIONS OF ANY POSSIBLE REFUND. I HAVE FREQUENTLY ASKED TRAINING DIRECT ******* ABOUT REFUND AND CONCTACTED EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR MARILYN C******* AND WAS TOLD TO WAIT FOR REFUND CHECK, IT IS ON HOLD. I SEE NO EFFORT IN THE BUSINESS TRYING TO RESOLVE PROBLEM.Business response

Please note: I am the Executive Director, Marilyn C*******, who was away in the month of September due to an emergency family medical leave. Upon arrival I personally reached out to the student, ***** ******** ************* who decided to transition from our CNA program into our Phlebotomy program since Monday, 10/16/23 and is projected to successfully complete our program by next Friday, 11/3/23, unless she needs further assistance in meeting the hours, making full payments, and successfully performing her clinical benchmarks of our respective program. The reimbursement becomes null and void as she owes our institution the full amount difference from the CNA program (full cost is $1395.00) to our Phlebotomy program (full cost is $1600.00) she only paid $700.00 and owes us the remaining balance of $900.00, unless she did indeed receive a reimbursement of $500.00 then she would owe us the full amount of $1,100.00 which includes an additional $200.00 non-refundable fee.
Please know that I will meet with the student, ***** ***** on Monday, October 30th to ensure that this unfortunate complaint has been resolved as she seems to be very happy with her transition and educational success to date. Thank you.
