Wednesday, May 24, 2023 a man rang my doorbell telling me he owned Jeremy Paving Corporation and was doing paving in my neighborhood. He drove a white pick up truck with a logo showing Jeremy Paving Corporation and he gave me a business card with the same information. We discussed plans to repair my driveway. I gave the contractor my father's phone number so that additional details could be discussed. My father spoke to Jeremy that evening and a plan was proposed to tear out my old driveway and put in a brand new driveway. A contract was to be provided to me for signature the next day. The next day, May 25th, the contractor rang my doorbell at 4 pm and the bottom portion of my driveway had already been broken up and removed. They started demotion without the promised contract. I repeatedly asked for a contract and paperwork but nothing was provided. Friday, May26th, a big crew worked on my driveway and there were two pick up trucks with Jeremy Paving logos. Demolition continued and new asphalt was laid down. I still had not received any formal paperwork after repeated requests. The contractor called my father on May 27 to demand payment and my father paid in full $20,000. Work continued Tuesday, May 30th and I pointed out many deficiencies and problems in the driveway, like bumps, seams, discoloration +holes. I spoke directly to the contractor and to other workmen on site and everyone assured me that the finished product would be perfect and that I would be very happy. Work was finished that same day, despite my numerous complaints.Friday, June 2nd, upon pulling into my street, I saw a Jeremy Paving truck + flagged down the driver to inquire again about the problems. The man I spoke to, who's name is Christian T***** told me that HE is the actual owner of Jeremy Paving Corporation and that the contractor I had been working with was a subcontractor of his.Christian T**** agreed my driveway was in terrible shape. Repeated requests for resolution are ignored.
