This is an apartment building. There’s always issues with the building & it’s when the issues are expressed they aren’t handled quickly or effectively. This is an 11/12 floor building & our elevators are always malfunctioning or breaking. An elevator actually snapped & fell 3 floors while somebody was in it. There is also no air circulating throughout the common areas of the building or elevator. No cameras are in place & if they are I highly doubt they are working. We have no proper security in place or a doorman so sometimes homeless people slip in after residents enter the building, which results in homeless people sleeping in our building & breaking into apartments which isn’t safe at all especially considering that we have no cameras in our hallways! There is also a constant ‘pests’ problem. They are little gnats or fruit flies that supposedly come through our piping caused by a tenant not keeping their apartment clean. I feel as if that is not an excuse & we should not have to suffer the consequences of somebody else’s mess; if that even is the real issue. These pests make it uncomfortable to live. They fly around in your face. Around your food while you eat. They fly around what you cook. My spouse also told me he got bit a couple of times. This is all while in the comfort of my own home, that I’m paying $1,300 to rent. They have “pest control” come inside of our apartments (sometimes when we are not even home to give permission!) only for the problem to still persists! I also have rusted piping under my kitchen sink which has holes in it causing the water when I use it to leak all into the sinks cabinet & onto my kitchen floors; therefore I can’t even use my kitchen sink which is going on a month now. Management rarely replies & maintenance just gives a runs around. I also rent a commercial space by the same company & I have issues there as well. From no air circulating in common areas, mold in the bathroom, break ins, etc. Please contact me back.
